Bed bug infested hotel. The desk attendant was very unprofessional! He rented me a room with bed bugs, and attempted to ambush my room while I was semi dressed. I told him to get out of my room, wait until I am fully dressed! The desk clerk needs to be fired. He doesn’t know how to relate to customers! He thought that I fabricated a story about them having bedbugs. He inspected the beds, and he saw them with his two eyes. The pillows and spreads had black stains on them, how disgusting! He said , I was going to refunded for the room, still no refund! I believe they knew they have an infestation of bed bugs, but clearly, they don’t give a damn! They are despicable! Not to mention, the third floor had piles of garbage in the hallway and dirty filthy sheets in the hall. The third floor smelled musty and people were smoking disgusting smelling marijuana! I stayed at this hotel a few times in the past, and I had a positive stay. Maybe, they have a new owner. Sleep Inn is a hotel for drug addicts, not working civilized citizens!

This was close to the airport. Waited over an hour for the shuttle (aka, SUV) then he was rude, and drove so fast, with music so loud. We almost hit another car. The desk gal was nice. There was glass on our room floor, just small shards sparkling with my flashlight, after 4 pokes, I had to put back on my shoes. Noisy 1st floor. Ck out was easy. The driver in the AM was nice,

The TV didn't work, and after I notified the front desk I was told that she would have the "company" come fix it. And obviously that NEVER HAPPENED. Did NOT intend to pay for a room for the night to stare at the 4 walls. So that was my experience. Hope yours is better.

Kind of expensive for what it was. Slept on top of the sheets cause the sheets were filled with what I thought was lint. Smallest hotel room Ive ever been in, but I think that's pretty standard in NYC. Just a one night stay before we went to Manhattan, so it was okay.

Ultimately, for the money paid I couldn't ask for more. Clean, comfortable bed, nice hot shower near JFK at a fraction of the price. It's Nothing fancy but it does the job if you need something

This was a last minute sleep over, if we didn't find a hotel we might of slept in the car. It was 5am and we were looking to sleep a couple of hours after the airport, before hitting the road. Very affordable know all the competition in the area, wished it was a little more cleaner.

Good for a one night max...it's clutch, not a first option. Why? Thin walls (everyone will hear everything), not sure the "eggs" on their breakfast bar are eggs, rooms need a serious redo, one luggage dolly and limited parking. But, like I said, if none of these bother you, then it's clutch.

A clean establishment, the rooms were smelling fresh and the beds were cleaned and comfortable, the continental breakfast is a cut above the rest, it's a nice place to stay

Read this before making your decision!!!Don’t ever come here !!!!!As a foreignerI have the worst day in NY because of this hotel, I book this hotel via Agoda last month and when I arrived to JFK I had a terrible conversation on phone with reception, he is SO RUDE!!!!! he said the hotel HAVE NO SHUTTLE BUS (and why in Agoda you say you have!?!?) and you can come by UBER but he cant find my reservation anyway (his voice tone is also very Rude)I tried to contact Agoda and they said my reservation had sudden changed to Quality inn (for what?) then I tried to contact that hotel via number several times but NO ONE PICKED UP MY CALLS so I dont know what to do and what I think that time is does this hotel really exist? do they have shuttle bus?? I have to pay uber even I book the hotel because they say they have free shuttle bus?? I wasn’t appreciate at allI also had terrible time asking for the cancelation with Agoda. I called Agoda 4 times and I got nothing from first 3 times. They neither helpful nor did what they promise to do.(luckily Kristen finally help me contact the hotel) So I wasted 4.5 hours in the JFK.Till now I still dont know why my reservation had change to another hotel (which is cheaper) and dont know why I the hotel didnt pick up my calls.

Avoid it as much as you can!• I booked a room at Sleep Inn JFK through Agoda but had my booking changed to another hotel (Comfort Inn JFK) without my agreement and without previous notice. Both Sleep Inn and Comfort Inn belong to the Choice Hotels chain.• The receptionist at Sleep Inn JFK knew from the beginning that I had been moved to Comfort Inn JFK. Instead of being upfront however, he was really rude and devious. He first tried to sell us another room, claiming that he had no booking. Then, once I showed him a copy of the booking from Agoda, he made me (unnecessarily) call Agoda to try to find out what was going on.• Without much choice, I did what he asked and called Agoda (note: I was with my wife and my 10-year old grandson who was about to board a plane overseas in less than 2 hours – I was in NY that evening just to fetch him to JFK - I booked Sleep Inn JFK in JFK’s neighborhood as I was also flying out early next morning)• Agoda did not know about the issue and asked time to check and call me back. The clock was ticking for my grandson to board his plane.• After ~30 minutes (that seemed like an eternity), the receptionist at Sleep Inn JFK finally told us that he knew what the issue was. He said I should go to Comfort Inn JFK and that our booking was there now.• We rushed to Comfort Inn JFK by foot through a dangerous neighborhood in the evening. Imagine two people on their high 50s and 1 kid, carrying 5 bags, two of which were quite large and heavy, running through that neighborhood late in the day.• We got to Comfort Inn JFK totally sweaty. We had planned for our grandson to take a quick shower before boarding his very long international flight. Instead, all we could do after checking in was to drop 2 of the bags in the room and rush him to the airport (with the 2 large bags and a smaller one).• Our grandson almost missed his flight.• When we got back to Comfort Inn JFK later that evening, we found out that it was the worst hotel we stayed in our lives (and we have travelled quite a lot, many times in more unhospitable areas of the world). The bed was broken to the point that, while laying down on it, our feet would stay in a level above our heads, with an even deeper level around our torsos.• We were so tired however that, instead of complaining or moving out, we decided to stay there. It was late, around 10 PM, and we had to leave by 5 AM next morning. If we were to move out, we would probably sleep even less that night.• Sleeping in Comfort Inn JFK however was almost impossible. The hotel was dirty, the room was noisy and the bed, as explained above, was a nightmare. We barely slept at all.• The room’s bathroom was so dirty that we left it without using the shower and brushed our teeth with the mineral water we bought at JFK after fetching our grandson.• In summary, a complete disaster.

Found a roach in my room. If it wasn't for that they would have gotten all 5 stars. Staff was great, rooms were clean and they cleaned the bathroom everyday and gave us clean towels everyday.

It was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed. The shower floor dirty. The front entrance and staff horrible. I didn't sleep a wink.Only thing going for it is the close proximity to the air port.Shut that thing down.

We were stuck in JFK overnight due to delays and missed connections. AA provided us with accommodations at Sleep Inn. I was skeptical when looking at the place from the outside but rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. It's a no frills place. Definitely better than sleeping at the airport though. There was no restaurant or breakfast due to Covid which was ridiculous at this time. I would have thought AA could do better for their customers but it was adequate if you're tired and need a place to rest.
