We have been going to the coder school for about 8 months and my son absolutely loves it. He’s learned so much during this short period. The office is so helpful and very attentive to parents concerns and questions. I was able to switch my son’s teacher until we found a perfect fit. Highly recommend the Coder School

The Coder School is a valuable asset to Bayside. My son has been attending since he was 8. The instruction and quality of coaching his unparalleled. I highly recommend. My son turned 10. Where did he want to celebrate? The Coder School. Noreen graciously went above and beyond in making this day special. From teaching the kids to code their own games, to have a coding a drone contest, and a video game tournament:...this birthday party made many children happy.

Each coach my child has had at the Coder school has been very knowledgeable and patient. My daughter has left each class very happy about what she has learned and eager to learn more. Highly recommend!

My daughter started taking coding with a group class 4 months ago remotely. Her computer class in school also does coding with the same program, Scratch, but the teacher doesn’t teach them how it’s done and lets them go rogue. With The Coder School, she has learned exponentially and is having so much fun while doing it. They have the kids create their own multi level game/escape room with obstacles and any theme to their liking. When my daughter told me she’s working on a level where BTS has to catch ghosts, I bursted out laughing. My daughter is so enthusiastic and it renewed her creative sparks. After the class is over, the coach emails you a thorough summary of what they accomplished, the challenges they met, and how they solved it. The coaches are young which helps them to easily relate to and communicate with the students. They are also knowledgeable, attentive, and extremely patient. I especially love how they guide students along and spend time on those who are struggling more. Shoutout to coach Sophie and Matthew! The Coder School has been a great addition to my child’s extracurricular.

They changed 3 coaches during one session without letting us know. Emily promised to give my son a test to let the new coach know what level he is, but never happened. So the coach had to spend 2 classes to get to know my sons progress. I texted them, and called to report the problem of the coach changing and the only answer I got was “Were going to talk to the supervisor.”

My son is an antisocial child, he doesn't like to go out, but since he started going to Bayside coding school he can’t wait to get in to his class. The staff, the teachers are all nice to him. He is more communicable he has improved tremendously. He is attending school twice a week for an hour.
