“I have been searching for the squishmallow mystery, dumpling kit, jumbo, and everywhere I checked they were sold out. I called the Five Below in Forest Hills on Sunday 12:7 and spoke to a very pleasant and professional young man. His name was Steven. He told me call back tomorrow. We’re supposed to be getting a shipment. Sure enough I called and he told me that they just got eight in and that he would put aside whatever amount I needed. I told him just two. I told him that my niece would be coming by to buy them. He went out of his way to take care of me. Kudos to him. He is certainly a great asset to the Five Below team. ?”
“This store is amazing. It has toys for 10 years old to everything you need for a new born. Half off if not even 60% off.. some items are brand new some are used but majority are in great condition. The owner is a sweetheart.”
“Friendly, helpful staff. Tons of back issues. Higher priced books are organized alphabetically. .$99 books are not organized but older ones are divided into DC, Marvel and various independent publishers. There are even boxes for young readers. Upstairs there are toys, boxes , bags and boards. There are trades as well. They are priced reasonably. They aren't organized but it's fun to browse.”
“It used to be a good book store, but I think it is slowly going the way of other book stores. And the selection just cannot match what is available online.Kid's book section (kids books in Russian language) is its only useful feature as far as I can see.”
“Lovely shop with so many kids toys, especially a wide selection of Melissa & Doug products !! I was so happy to find so many Poke-A-Dot books here as well as Melissa & Doug place mats and stickers and drawing pads. Aside from toys they also have some gift items such as picture frames and figurines. The store is also open 7 days a week! I will definitely be returning again!”

“Some of their prices are more expensive than TJ Maxx or Target, so stick to the small things that you know are worth about $5 or less. Great candy selection, no phone cases or accessories for anything other than iPhones, and be sure not to go there unless you're ready to spend lots of money on stuff that you'll donate in a few years.
Staff is great. I've always found them to be welcoming and helpful, especially at the self-checkout.”
