“My dogs have been seeing Dr. Julie Andino for over 17 years. We followed her from another vet’s office. Besides being an excellent veterinarian, she is very caring and loves the pets she cares for. She recently saw us through a tough time when we had to make the terrible decision to put our dogs down due to old age and illness. She was supportive and compassionate throughout this difficult time for our family. She cried with us. I am happy to say that we are back with our new dog, Mabel. The staff at VCG-Glen Oaks is kind and friendly. The office is always immaculate. All calls are responded to quickly. I highly recommend VCG-Glen Oaks.”
“I never write reviews but this one is necessary! Dr. Pozo is truly a gem, she’s so warm and gracious and puts you right at ease! She squeezed me in to see my two newly adopted cats when I found out one of them was given to me sick. She examined them both and prescribed medicine, taking the time to teach me how to administer and tips on how to keep the cats calm and how to prevent myself from getting scratched! She has since been very kind to answer all my follow up worry some questions and has also taken care of my dog. If you’ve been searching for a vet, I highly recommend you put your trust in Dr. Pozo!”

Took him to 2 other vets spent a ton of money and the problem would reoccur. Came to Glendale vets and the staff was super friendly, helpful and funny. Made me feel at ease as we were able to joke a little during a tough time for me. I really thought I was gonna have to put him down. After 13 years with him. So I was in a bad place. Either way, Mr Fidel CatStro, (that’s my furry friend If you didn’t figure it out) left there with no more issues. And 3 months later. He is actually more friendly then he was prior to his visits with this vet and safe to say he back and living his best life. Thanks guys. Really appreciate your work. !!”

I brought in a stray cat in need a couple of times and they took great care of her, bathed her, and were very understanding and empathetic to my situation. It’s nice to see part of the community respect and love animals the way I do!”
“The annual visit for Remi an 8lb 9year old mini poodle mix who lost 2 toes to cancer and has IVDD a back disc disease. I’m hoping he won’t need major surgery.
He got all his shots to keep him as healthy as possible. I’ve scheduled dental cleaning and exam as he’s already had extractions in TX before he came to NYC to be adopted. He’s compromised but stupendous and brings a smile to all who see him skip and hop. Quiet, follows me interested in everything, person and animal that crosses his path. Dr Yau is gentle, through and exudes competence and care. I subscribe to their discount program and am delighted. The cost of care is outweighed by the pleasure and love I get every day and broken down by 12 months is very reasonable.”

“I’ve had two great experiences at IAC Urgent Vets Queens this week when getting my cat treated for an eye infection. I initially brought her in as a walk-in and then came back a few days later for a treatment adjustment/re-check. Both times, the admin, doctors, and vet staff were very friendly and helpful and explained in detail the potential courses of action, prognosis, and costs. My kitten is formerly feral and can be quite skittish, but they were great with her. Her eye is improving very well and I am extremely pleased with the care she received. Thank you, IAC Urgent Vets! We will definitely be back if we need your services in the future.”

“Dr. Cohen and his staff have been seeing my pup Cali since 2024. As a first responder it's refreshing to find a clinician who takes the time to answer every question and level with you on 1 to 1 basis in regards to your animals health. FMAC provides excellent preventive and urgent care and I highly recommend them for all your pet's medical necessities.”

“Friendly staff. They worked really well with my reactive dog and made him feel comfortable during the visit. They explained what treatments needed to be done and provided a breakdown in price. The vet we saw that particular Saturday was very kind, as was the nurse. Naturally, the one thing that didn’t sit well with me was the price of everything that needed to be done, but if you don’t have pet insurance, it is what it is. Nonetheless, I plan on going here moving forward.”
“Smallish Petco that has a good selection for dogs, cats, small critters, and fish but doesn't have many choices for bird owners. I would recommend to call ahead or check the website beforehand if you are a bird person.”

“I take my 3 year old Rottweiler Kane there and they were very gentle with him being a big dog and all he had his shots done and his nails clipped with no issues he even gave one of the vets a kiss afterwards love this place I highly recommend them for your pet”
“This was our first visit to Bellerose and the person who referred me couldn’t have described the service more accurately. They were extremely friendly, an inviting atmosphere and the bed manner from James and Dr Hernandez was incredible. They were informative, thorough and helped ensure Rosie was in good hands. Our Rosie was put at ease and after the treatment she’s never been happier. I never thought I’d say this, and don’t want to wish any harm, but I can’t wait for our next visit!”
“Dr. Chew is truly such a wonderful vet and our Mochi was taken care of every single time we went and he always returned our calls. Only thing that prevents me from giving the clinic a 5 star rating is that they are very old school and don't do email correspondence, so if we need Chewy to verify a med, we need to go to the clinic to pick the physical prescription and or copies of records. We made the difficult choice to switch to somewhere closer to us as we are in Forest Hills. If you're fairly local to this clinic, we absolutely recommend Dr. Chew.”
“I took my dog Mimi here for a dental cleaning. They were lovely and incredibly helpful, not to mention 1/3rd of the price another vet quoted me for the same procedure. They did the preop bloodwork, cleared her for anesthesia, and then took her the next week. They were very professional, and cared for her greatly. will be going back!”
“My pup is an old man who can be a bit spicy at the vet ( Has to be on Gaba and Trazadone) it's pretty comforting to know my dog wasn't overwhelmed. It's also super relaxing for me especially hearing he didn't snap or hurt anyone when being handled. It would suck when his old vet would mentioned he bit someone. But the tone of voice from the employees of my old vet would be condescending. ( Honestly I would feel super bad after the vet visit). I am aware my dog isn't the best at the vet. But I appreciate the honesty and transparency the Court Square Animal Hospital team gave me on my 1st and 2nd visit.”

“I brought our family’s 16-year-old senior cat, Sonny, here for the first time after he hadn’t been to a vet in years, and overall we had a positive experience.
The wait wasn’t long, which we really appreciated. The clinic itself is a bit older in appearance, but the staff was very kind and welcoming. Julie in particular was wonderful — she made us feel at ease, didn’t pressure us into anything, and was so patient while handling our very spicy senior cat.
Dr. Papak was knowledgeable and thorough, and we really appreciated that she is bilingual. That was a big plus for our family since Sonny lives with my Spanish-speaking parents, and it helped ensure everything was clearly understood. We were also happy to hear that, at 16 years old, Sonny’s teeth and overall condition looked great.
At one point, the communication in the exam room felt a little tense, and I just hope staff interactions can always feel as supportive as the care they provide, especially since the techs were doing such a great job with a difficult patient.
Overall, Sonny received good care, the team was kind, and the location is very convenient for us, so we would return.”
