Unfortunately my first review was way off. I thought it was a job well done BUT after promising to come back to clean the glue from the seams of the wallpaper they never did. I contacted them a few times and never heard back. I was also waiting for a quote on more work & nothing. They asked me a quite a few times to write a review & I was happy to do so as soon as they left. Unfortunately they left the glue in the seams & now it looks bad. Between that & not giving me the respect to follow through & clean the seams & not giving me the quote they are no different than so many others. I think it's been 10 months since my last review & I finally remembered to write this.

Celso was very responsive and accommodating to my schedule. He arrived on time and did an amazing job installing wallpaper on my back wall. He did such a professional, beautiful job and left no mess. I would 100% have him back!

I was having work done in my bathroom and my handyman accidentally ripped my existing wallpaper which I had bought in the UK (see attached before and after pictures). I was heartbroken until I was able to find CS Painting & Wallpaper. Celso responded to me shortly after I reached out on a Sunday and assured me he would be able to make the repair.He did not disappoint. He arrived on time, was friendly and very efficient. Within 1 hour the repair was made without any evidence that an accident had occurred. Not only did he do everything he said he would, and not only was he communicative to let me know when he would arrive, and not only was he friendly and professional but he was incredibly reasonable in his pricing. So reasonable that I gave him a tip for being so professional and leaving the room clean.I cannot recommend him enough but I know I have found my team for all future paint and wallpaper work and have already told a friend of mine about him.Thank you again Celso. I'll be working with you again!

Celso and his team did an absolutely incredible job installing wallpaper in our apartment! They installed wallpaper in 5 rooms and got the job done quickly and expertly. We used vintage wallpaper from the 1940s and 1970s in 4 out of the 5 rooms, which was very delicate and required extreme care, and they were able to install it perfectly. I was amazed that they were able to make 70 year old hand-painted wallpaper look brand new. We are extremely happy with their work and plan to use them again in the future. Thank you!

We recently renovated our apartment but unfortunately our primary contractor's wallpapering work was inadequate, so we had CS come to redo it. For a very reasonable price Celso and his colleague came and resurfaced the wall to make sure it was primed. They installed the wallpaper and cleaned up when they left. Their work was far better than what we had before, and they were incredibly informative during the process, asking questions and educating us by paying attention to the details. Our room was small, and made up of many different wall shapes and sizes, with tight corners and uneven walls as is often the case in older NYC apartments. The finished product was great.
