I love Curtis Lumber and their cabin kits but working with Tom was a nightmare. He never responded to questions, was not helpful in the ordering process, and didn’t have any knowledge. We tried to switch representatives but for some reason that was not allowed. I will not return to the Queensbury location because of Tom. This is a great company but Tom is hurting the experience. I advise everyone to go to a different location.Edit: his name tag says Thomas but he goes by Tom

Curran wood pellets they sell are garbage but not at a garbage price. Lots of ash, burns fast and heavy buildup in the burn pot. 22 years burning pellets worst pellets I have ever purchased.

Submitted a complete material list for pricing. $1,500 worth of PT decking/stringers/stair treads. Response and quote was received same day. Following day I attempted to secure order, (they said they would only hold the quote for 5 days...pressure your customers much? 30 days is the industry standard). I was looking to pay for the order in full, and schedule delivery. I was told that on the DAY of delivery, pricing would be adjusted to that particular day’s rates, ( are you a lumber yard, or are you OPEC?), and I would need to pay the difference. So less than 24 hours after submitting a quote they tell a would-be customer who’s willing to pay in full, in advance, that they will not honor the very same quote. I’m not remotely interested in dealing with such shady business practices. Buyer beware.

Worst service! They deliver the wrong materials and have garbage for lumber, and take no responsibility for their mistakes I definitely wouldn’t recommend this company

Worked with Jerry in designing a new kitchen island. He did a great job and is easy to work with on this project. The store too is great in Glens Falls.
