I was double charged a Digiorno pizza. Went back in and manager didn't know how to do a refund. So I was stuck with two pizza when I only wanted one.

The women with the glasses and tie die Simpsons hoodie on was COMPLETELY rude! She shoved by me and my boyfriend and says “excuse me” in the most condescending rude tone then proceeded to slam down the coffees behind us so hard we just stared at each other, I’m absolutely disgusted and won’t be spending my cash at this dollar general EVER AGAIN

Wasted my time at this store i thought this would be a quick stop, but the line was extremely long, self checkout was closed, and the clerk was painfully slow.. I just left without my items..

Visited yesterday and was surprised, not in a good way, at the condition of the store, low or no inventory of food and drink items and lack of employees on duty. A lot of the refrigerated and frozen foods were completely sold out and shelves were empty. Aisles were hard to move thru due to boxes stacked up all over the store. There were only 3 of us customers inside shopping in the afternoon. I only saw two employees, one female I believe to be the manager, who assisted customers locating items by shouting out the location while she was unpacking boxes and stocking non-food items. The other employee, Judith, cashed me out and was very professional, polite, and offered assistance to get my bags out to the car, which I greatly appreciated because she could tell I was struggling with my injured back. I declined because a second female customer was already in line behind me, being impatient making all kinds of grunting and sighing noises. Obviously, she was in a hurry and was being obnoxious. The self-checkout was available, I don’t know why she didn’t use it. As I left the store with 4 full paper bags in the cart, I stepped outside to see the other female (I believe the manager) employee, taking a break smoking a cigarette on the sidewalk, where I had to walk to get to my car. When she realized I was going to have to walk with the cart where she was standing smoking, she did move further down the sidewalk, past where my car was parked. I’m very sensitive to cigarette smoke, it aggravates and affects my brain injury and I was surprised she was smoking so close to the store doors. Of course I’m all for employees taking a much needed break during their work shift, but I believe there should be a designated area where employees can take a seat and/or smoke away from the store entrance/exit and away from where customers park. This store is in a very busy location. I feel there should be at least 3 employees on duty during daytime shifts. The store needs to be stocked! So many items were sold out and there were too many empty shelves! ? I usually shop at the Lake George Dollar General store on Route 9. I’m there 3-4 times a month. The prices are excellent! I love that store and the staff there! They are always full stocked, I never see any empty shelves, and they usually have at least 3-4 employees on duty during the day. When I shop there, they usually have 2 cashiers and 2 employees unpacking boxes, stocking shelves, and assisting customers. The Queensbury store on Main Street needs to learn from the Lake George store location and get the store cleaned up, get sufficient inventory ordered and get additional employees to stock shelves and assist customers. I don’t know if I will visit the Main Street location in Queensbury, near Exit 18 Glens Falls, again.

They're very friendly. Very helpful. Prices are very reasonable. They ask you if you need help carrying your stuff to the car, i usually decline because i'm strong i'm tough bags suck though. if you have a return they don't give you a hassle or ask you tons of goofy questions like other stores do. I really like the store they always have what you want. Just grab n go and you're out of there.

***updated... the employees have been more than helpful since my original review so I felt the need to rerate the store to 5 stars from one, I guess everyone has a bad day or maybe we misread what was said had, looking back it may have been meant in humor and not offensively***Very rude employee, we shop there every few days and on our last visit the cashier asked us "did you have to buy the whole fu****g store" I found this VERY unprofessional, its people like us that keep you with a paycheck! I suggest better training of your employees! If I could give 0 stars I would.
