The Ladies in The Quogue Post Office are the kindest, sweetest, hard working women I have ever meet. The amount of packages letters and stuff is overwhelming yet they handle all the difficult people with ease and humor. I can't say enough great things about all the hard work each and every one does on a daily basis. Thank you Quogue Post Office for keeping your sense of humor even with the most difficult people. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!!! Thank you

The girls in the lobby are always so helpful when I need to send something; always helping me with the proper packaging and best way for me to send things. They work very hard... and especially during the height of the pandemic throughout 2020 when stress was at an all time high and postal mail service was backed up and slow..customers were overall unhappy with the postal system but I witnessed the ladies in here help them very well and get the job done! thanks ladies!

Bozenna, who was working the front was completely rude and unhelpful. Please think about placing her far, far away from customers or letting her go. There was no reason for the way she spoke to me or the elderly customer before. There are plenty of hardworking people looking for employment.

Bozenna is incredibly rude, I forgot my phone in my car for an address, said I would be right back. She loudly complained, "oh my God", pushed my package to the side and huffed like I ruined her day. I was parked right in front and came right back in. I was gone 20 seconds. She needs to retire to a cabin in the woods, where she can be a miserable person all by herself. I will never go back to the Quogue Post Office, East Quogue is much nicer.

The Post master for Long Island a Mr. Frank Calabrese, told me that not only was Quogue ineligible to have its mail delivered, but they had no plans in the future to deliver EVER. And yet, according to multiple accounts including a newspaper story I believe, in Newsday, the great over washed & over privileged, "voted " against it during Mayor Motts' tenure. Curious, one story suggests that, Mr Calabrese is the great arbiter of who gets to have their mail delivered, the other according to the article I referred to, says we could have had this a long while ago. The fact that census statistics, are skewed, given that many homeowners now cowering here, do not claim this as their primary residence further muddies the legality involved. East Quogue gets their mail delivered, Westhampton gets their mail delivered. Just not Quogue, it may be so Quaint and cute, at this tiny rat hole of a PO, to meet and greet, but what happens when all those privileged who continue to stay here now, (believing they have escaped Covid) and they have to stand there outside in the cold, sleet and rain. Between that and a thoroughly inept staff, and the fact that none of this is in aid of wasted gas, Covid contamination, no ventilation except for the doors, did any of the "meet and greet" think about their neighbors who may be sick, elderly, or handicapped. Well of course not. If it gets too cold to stand outside in the lines, they'll just send their maids.

The Quogue Post office clerk named Bozenna was so incredibly rude yesterday to my 15-yr-old daughter - who was only sweetly and innocently asking a question about buying an envelope! -- that she ran out of the post office in tears. She biked home and was so shaken up that I had to drive her to the Hampton Bays post office to mail her package. So today I took my daughter back to the Quogue post office to pick up some Amazon packages that had arrived to us there. I thought maybe my daughter had misread the clerk and could get over her fear. But - the same clerk Bozenna barked rudely at my daughter to stay outside. Not even a "hey, sorry but our rules are that you must come in one at a time." Then, when I approached the desk, she literally SCREAMED at me at the TOP of her lungs for "having too many packages here!!" And for not coming frequently enough to get my mail. I explained that every time I drove by this week, the line was long and I couldn't wait because of work commitments, so it had been a few days. And that Quogie is not our primary residence so sometimes 5 days go by without the opportunity to get our mail. I asked what the protocol was, did she have any advice or was there anything I could do to offset the package and mail buildup? Could I get it forwarded, fill out a form etc. she would not answer me. She just yelled that I was "not following the rules." I calmly asked what rules, I would be happy to follow them if she could explain and stop yelling and reprimanding me. I offered to her to come back early one morning when she would be less busy. She screamed and yelled that there was NO GOOD TIME to return and then she REFUSED to give me the rest of our packages. She said they would all be returned! She yelled that she did not have the time to retrieve them, and that I had RUINED HER DAY. She screamed "There is always one person who ruins my day - today this is you!" I then calmly reminded her that I pay taxes in Quogue and therefore contribute to her salary. She then threw my mail into the air and it fell on the floor behind her. The people on line outside heard this woman screaming at me. When I left, nearly every person on line said something like, "ahh, you got the mean one!" With knowing nods. My daughter was absolutely shaken. When I got home and told my husband, he said "this is why I hate going to the post office. That clerk is always SO mean to everyone."This woman Bozenna is truly unhinged and should be fired or at the very least put on medical leave for her to get anger management counseling. Quogue is a friendly, small family village with good family values. This woman has a reputation in town for being extremely rude and harassing to people who must come in to retrieve our packages and mail. Quogue is a hamlet and all mail is delivered to this little post office instead of to our homes. So we all must come in to the post office regularly and it is a place for people to say hellos and be friendly, where kids can ride their bikes to pickup family mail. Why can't this clerk Bozenna be minimally courteous? How is it possible that she even has this job in our small friendly town??!! I am sure there are many other wonderful friendly people who would love this job and enjoy the town meet-and-greet environment of a small village post office.

Was in the Quogue post office today (6 midland st) and i must say my 2 good friends were treated so bad and disrespected by 2 of the clerks that work there. One named Sherri the other is a broken English older woman who is forever rude to customers especially the elderly! Sherri yelled and humiliated my friend to leave the PO as there were only 2 people allowed in due to covid, in which my friend was the first one in and instead of approaching the others to leave, she attacked my good friend, also made gay discrimination comments towards my friends and picked on her age. It is a total disgrace that these 2 women still have jobs and something needs to be done as they are getting away with treating people like dirt!
