“I've lived in Oak Brook for five years & i've never had a problem. The staff has always been good to me and it's a beautiful area. I'm glad I made this home”
“I must say, that the manager Esther was extremely helpful, very professional in everyway. Answering all my questions, and every accommodating. It's been a good experience working with them, it's been a long time since I moved into an apartment, and being able to bring my dog is wonderful. I have to say the staff work extremely quick and efficiently.”
“Lived here long time I'm disabled,
not good with wording, but I will try to do a helpful review.
For those also disabled this is a great place.
All the staff/managers that have come & gone over the years have been helpful & very nice.
They have been willing to help when needed,
There is some things they can't do so understand that,
Like they can't put in your air conditioning do to liability
but otherwise they can help with other stuff pretty well.
there not rude,
there very understanding,
& they listen, I love this place!
the apartment is nice for me & my kitty,
they allow pets which is so nice!
They are not picky on how you setup your place.
Those that have sensory issues be aware of the fire alarms in the hallways they are loud & like a sharp piercing head hurt loud.
Unlike anything I was ever trained for.
But the apartments alarms while very loud & very sensitive to going off with smoke or even hot heat are not piercing but they are loud & not easy to reach to shut off so make sure u figure a plan for that.
I have a pole for mine.
I will say as of 2026 we have a door issue that STILL HAS NOT BEEN FIXED. I will edit if it ever gets fixed.
so we can only go in one door atm front door do to an issue with our side door needing to be replaced, new lock.. new keys..
Anyone living on the side door side, then has to go the long way home..for one trying to bring up grocery's it's frustration to have to go in front door, walk around to get to side door to push & hold open for humans to bring in stuff..
Now other thing is the laundry situation as of 2026
it has not been fun, over a decade being here..
I will edit this if the laundry humans come & do the replace laundry thing like they stated...but atm they has not don't even know if it's gonna be better but we will see.
For one we have to go across to the other building just to fill a card not all buildings have the card filler,
it's not too bad but it's kinda annoying,
be nice for all buildings to have a card filler,
some days are just exhausting to,do extra steps to go outside to fill a card just means sometimes laundry gets put off....
For 2..the machine...omg.. It's a bipolar sideloader ...
it's also too small..
that machine can spin out if there's too little or too much or too heavy..I still haven't mastered how to load this sideload washer without angering it, been here over a decade ...
I do not leave home, I do not drive, I rely solely on the washer & dryer for everything, but it can't even fit my blankets!!
I tried couple times to wash one of my main blankets, once it angered the machine so bad maintenance had to pop it open & I spent hours drying it.Never attempted again...
I like to be kinda independent & try to do my own laundry without getting overly frustrated! It used to be my favorite chore..
Now I dread it..
I have to rely on my humans to wash my blankets & that only happens once or twice a year, I tend to have to just buy a new blanket if I can't get out to washing them...
Otherwise this is a very nice apartment complex one of the best I've lived in, the humans that live in the building have been very nice as well very helpful. It's a nice place.”
