Called AAA four times when I got stranded at 10pm on a Wednesday in August. Was told H & N wasn't answering, even though I pay for the highest tier of AAA. Called a competitor, paid out of pocket, and was towed out of there in 15 minutes. H & N called back NINE hours later. Don't say you're 24 hours if you aren't. It's that simple.

Triple A used my local H & N Towing (Red Hook, NY) to jump start my car yesterday afternoon. Sam Scott arrived ahead of schedule with his warm, polite, and helpful demeanor and did way more than just jump start my car. I was prepared to buy a new battery but Scott acted in my interest by testing and "fixing" my existing battery to renew its life, saving me up to $200 and winning my trust with his honesty and my admiration with his know-how. Sam made H & N Towing look really good as a company and I'm so grateful to have benefitted from his intelligence, goodwill, wonderful presence, and kindness.

Beware! This tow truck driver and company are beyond awful. The driver was an intimidating, vile, and ignorant brute who menaced both myself and a vulnerable young woman. After relocating the car, he demanded extra money to proceed with the tow, putting us into a terrifying ordeal. Threatening to pilfer the vehicle and hawk it for scrap at $600, he coerced us into paying more for the service. Deceptive to the core, this tow driver will initially quote you a price, only to escalate the charges unfairly. When I called out his deceitful tactics as a bait-and-switch, he resorted to further intimidation, warning me not to cross him. Relentlessly, he extorted additional funds from me. It's sickening to witness such exploitation of those in dire need of assistance. Don't become another victim of their deceit! Steer clear of this company and its reprehensible staff at all costs. My encounter was a nightmare facilitated by a despicable individual. Don't be misled by the suspiciously positive reviews, likely penned by acquaintances of the owner. Take heed and avoid falling prey to their schemes. Check the photo for the face of the menace you'll encounter if he arrives.

Our car broke down on the way to our vacation, and H&N is the AAA towing company that came to tow us. The driver, JT, was so nice and professional. He gave us some good advice and the cab of his truck was clean for us to ride in with him to the car repair place. Thanks, JT!
