J B Peel Coffee & Tea is a lovely, quaint coffee shop with a pleasant atmosphere. It is an excellent local roaster where all coffee is fresh brewed and roasted on site. The coffee quality is excellent, with very good coffee and tea that is robust but smooth. They offer a varied selection, including flavorful decafs using a natural decaffeination process, and interesting brews like iced americanos, lattes, and matcha. The staff are very friendly, kind, and helpful, providing excellent service. They sell coffee, tea, and coffee-related products, making it a great place to pick up perfect local gifts. The shop is dog-friendly, allowing dogs on the patio and inside. Baked treats are reasonably priced, and there is local art.
Very reasonably priced espresso drinks! Very good interaction with barista. Not a lot of flavor options available so I went with my go to, iced mocha. Wasn't disappointed! Every now and then they serve up a specialty flavor but it doesn't seem often. A lot of freshly roasted coffee available for purchase!

Best coffee around. Always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Feels like home away from home. Super dog friendly. It’s also my dogs favorite coffee shop ;-)

Their coffee is the BEST. I love so many of the different roasts- Rhinebeck my favorite - you are sure to find what works best for you or a coffee-loving friend. The tea is beautiful too, and lots of fun gifts, stickers, pins. This place is an oasis and I love going in with my dog who receives so much love every time.
