Joe is a great guy and honest. Him and his crew are honest and straught-shooters. That's hard to come-by around here. Won't bring my car to anh other shop and I have a classic 1999 Honda Civic. Definitely trustworthy and won't overcharge or play games. Love them at Red Hook Auto!

My car could break down in front of Monro or Mavis, and I'd push my car all the way to Red Hook Auto. They are amazing at their job and are too busy to try to upsell random things to you.

So far I’ve only been here for my inspection. However. I plan on bringing my vehicle here for anything that they’ll allow me to bring it in for. Dare I say I’ve managed to find mechanics who aren’t trying to upsell you anything! I’m so happy I followed the recommendations I received and found these guys!!

Only went here for my NYS inspection. I made an appointment, they took me on time, and completed the inspection in a timely manner. I will be bringing my 2016 Volvo here when it needs service as they come highly recommended from my friend.

These guys are the real deal - honest and expert. After Mavis quoted me $2000 for a whole laundry list of dubious repairs, I called this shop about my issue and they said bring it in. The fix was much simpler than I’d been led to believe and the charge was $210. You can imagine my gratitude! They’re terrific mechanics and very decent people, a rare combo in a world of ripoff chains. Don’t hesitate.
