Unfortunately it will be turned into a shelter soon. Parents stayed on a recent trip. They enjoyed the stay and said the hotel was beautiful.

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Apparently they are closing soon to make a shelter and they have stopped caring for their paying customers. No room service or cafe available as the hotel is under construction. Had to switch rooms as the first room given to me smelled like a smoker's lounge. The second room's TV didn't work and the WIFI wasn't working either. If it wasn't for Jeremy (Front desk) trying to help, I would have walked out last night. Then this morning I was woken up at 5:45am with construction across the hall from me. Again, worst experience I have ever had in any hotel. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

This place is no longer a hotel; it is a homeless NYC housing facility for a man. Jan 2024

Top hotel and yet I am picky, especially about the cleanliness and comfort of the bedding which I find important. The strong points for me:The cleanliness, kindness and efficiency of the staff, the location 5 minutes walk from a metro station which arrives in the heart of Manhattan in 25 minutes, the comfortable bedding, the huge terrace on which we ate all in the evenings and in addition the shops around the hotel including an Aldi (considering the prices of food there, it was really significant). Small fridge and microwave in the room, very practical. The weak spots:A bit dirty neighborhood, but they can't do anything about it. And honestly, that's it.Yes there is a burger king and a Starbucks right next door. So what? I don't see the problem, on the contrary Starbucks can be a good option in the morning when you don't yet really know where to go for lunch. But ask at reception they have lots of good advice ☺️Rooms: Not very big but super well appointed, with the added bonus of a small fridge and a very practical microwave as well as for our meal, access to a super large terrace on which we ate very often.Walkability: Super easy to access, 5 minutes walk from the Whoohaven Blvd subway station which takes you to the heart of Manhattan or with which you can have correspondents for all other neighborhoods.Noteworthy details: A large shopping center, Queens center and next to the tube station and you also have Aldi and several other small stores within a 5 minute walk on the other side.

If you are looking for a sweet place that is close to LaGuardia airport….this hotel is perfect. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There was a shared patio outside my room. Both doors had safety features that could only be used from the inside of the room. It felt safe. The staff was very helpful. It’s less than ten minutes Uber ride from LaGuardia and there’s a few stores and Starbucks very close by. 1-2 mins walk. And a swanky bar next door. This room is perfect for 1-2 people.

The rooms are simple but OK. It's a bit out of the way but it's a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro and from there it's 30 minutes to Central Park.

The 4-person room is about the same size as the 2-person room, which is far different from the photo.

I'll start the review by saying that the rooms were clean, and the night clerk pleasant. That said? the only reason I can think that anyone would willingly stay in this hotel is because they had a need to be near the Queens Center Mall. There were several issues during my stay - key cards needed to be re-coded 5X in 2 days, the bar "didn't have a way to make hot water" to fix hot tea, but, "Starbucks is right around the corner!". Someone had spilled something in the elevator, but, the night desk clerk said "No maintenance is here 'til the morning to clean it up" - so we stuck to the floor walking out of the elevator. Back to the bar - you can't charge drinks to your room, they had gin, but, no tonic, and no, you can't take a wineglass to the room, but, we can pour it in to plastic for you! The entrance is in an alley, and there is no "check-in parking". For over $200 a night, even in New York, I expected a lot better than what was delivered.Walkability: 2 block from Queens Center mallFood & drinks: In a word, TERRIBLE. The "concession" cooler was empty ( and had been for a long time ) the couple of packaged items we looked at were months past their sell-by date.

Wish I could give this location 0 stars. I was charged for a room that I canceled prior to check in and was not given a refund. How can you charge someone for a room they never even stayed in? Ridiculous.
