Julia Testa Florist kept standing out. The bouquets on their website looked genuinely unique, creative, and different from the standard “luxury florist” copy-paste world. My only concern was will it really look like that when it arrives… and it did :)

I wanted a specific color of orchid, and Peter was thorough and kind, even when I told him I was going to keep looking. I eventually called back and placed the order. “I met Constantine by chance as I was walking by and asked if they had potting soil. He and his team are so very welcoming & knowledgeable about plants, re-potting, and timing. He helped me with my snake plant and I got a pilea! Super easy.
Weeks later, I reached out to him about creating my wedding bouquet and boutonnières for our ceremony. I asked if he could create my bouquet in an updated version of my later mother’s bouquet from 1974. Going off of blurry photos from my parents’ wedding, he was responsive, collaborative, and very honest on options, pricing and timing - our wedding was the week following Valentine’s Day - and he delivered beautifully.
He even came into the shop early the Saturday of our wedding so we could pick them up.
Could not recommend this shop any more for anything you need. Plants, floral arrangements, special occasions - anything. We’ve gone in for all, and they delivery phenomenal customer service and products every time.”

I bought a beautiful bouquet of flowers as a thank you for one of my organisation's volunteers. Bill and his team are so helpful and friendly. I was made to feel very welcome and had a lovely chat with Bill and team.
It's worth walking down 139-West 28th Street just to see all the beautiful flower shops. There used to be 45 wholesalers in NYC Flower Market - now there are just 8 (hotels keep buying up property in this area). So important we keep supporting these beautiful and unique flower shops!!! Do pay them a visit.
I really hope to go back when I'm in NYC again.
