BEWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! If I could give my experience zero stars, I would’ve. The worst experience purchasing some thing in all my life. The salesman was very misleading about a nonrefundable base, kept telling me and my husband we had 100 days to return the bed if we didn’t like it. Now I’m stuck with a base that I have no use for. On top of it when they removed the mattress. They also had to remove the tubes to the bed so now the adjustable bed will only work if I purchase a remote control. This was never explain to me when I purchase the base either. Who in their right mind is going to purchase $2000 base that is nonrefundable. The excuse that it’s an industry standard to have a base that’s nonrefundable is poor business. I was also told when calling up that they have a free trial to try the bed for 100 days that is completely returnable. The salesman never mention that to me either because I never would’ve purchased a bed if I knew that I cannot return the base.

I’m writing a 2 part review based on my experience with the representative that sold me the mattress and based on my experience with the companies deliver service.1. The representative that sold me the mattress was Catalina, she was great.. kind, patient and professional.. she went above and beyond to help me pick out the right mattress and frame. So I have nothing but good things to say about my initial experience with sleep number based on my interaction with Catalina.2. The companies communication methods need improvement…I went into the sleep number store on March 15, 2023 and made my purchase (close to $5,000)…I was scheduled to receive my mattress delivery on March 27 (two weeks later.)… I was told was the usual time frame.. I was ok with that…but when my scheduled date came.. there was no show no call on behalf of sleep number… I waited 4hrs(9am - 12pm) and they never showed. I was rescheduled for Thursday. 30th between 9 AM and 12 PM…. and at 11:30 AM I received a call from sleep number stating they were not coming because the merchandise was not on the truck…… Once again I was rescheduled an entire week later to Saturday, April 8, 2023 between 9 AM and 12 PM… finally at 10:45 AM the mattress and bed frame arrived.My experience has been one of frustration and great annoyance…taking days off and many hours lost for nothing has left a bad taste in my mouth.Sleep Numbers reputation along with the cost of the mattresses should come with a higher level of consideration for the customers time, and money. While my issues were resolved by the many customer service representatives that I spoke to over the phone I wish that my experience would have been a better one.

The representative was very knowledgeable and very easy to deal with. He made the process very easy and fast. The only thing I am not sure about my purchase is why the Sleep Number Bed doesn't own the base that moves the mattress up and down and it does not allow to return it. The hope is that the mattress which is guaranteed for 15 yrs will last and so will the flex base that lifts the mattress. We bought the P5 split king flex. We haven't received it yet but we are very excited. Perhaps I will update the review once delivered.

great experience at the store...no pressure to buy...salesman Walt was the best...had us try a number of beds showed us how it operates, and best part was he was not at all pushy...allowed us to talk add things remove things gave his personal suggestions...no just waiting on the delivery now and honestly cannot wait....thanks Walt!!!!

My wife went in to this store to look at pillows, asked the price of a bed, mentioned I was not going to be able to get a bed now due to medical reasons, and continued to look at pillows. She was just about to pick out a pillow when the sales man/manager asked what type of surgery I was having. My wife was flabbergasted and said she was not going to tell him anything. He said she could listen to him (his sales pitch) or leave. Not only a violation of HIPPA, a violation of privacy, and a really stupid way to get people not to buy your product or use this store. When I went in the female sales person had enough sense to walk away when I said I was just looking. No wonder this store is empty. WHAT TYPE OF SURGERY IS YOUR HUSBAND HAVING? I NEED TO KNOW BECAUSE I AM AN IDIOT!

I can not remember the woman that helped me and I am to lazy to get my paperwork. However, she was a doll. Very informative and helpful. I asked her if I could stay the night and she said can I can stay until 7pm. I wish I did because it was the best nap I ever had!

Unfortunately I wish to rate my mattress, the base and all items a zero but must give it a one. This has been the Worst investment I have ever done and now I am out of $6000 and stuck with the worst mattress ever. The seller at the Woodhaven, Queens store was very misleading. I purchased a semi split top to adjust head potion at difftrnt time, unfortunately it does not do that . the head portion both come up. I was told I have 90 days to try the bed, when I called to return, I was told I have to keep the base but they would take the mattress . this was never explained . the base is so heavy I cannot move it. The seller was very misleading and unfortunately I got stuck With the worst mattress I can ever buy. will never recommend them and will never use them. POOR SERVICE AND VERY MISLEADING . Please read carefully What you SIGN in any Sleep Number store.

GIVE THIS MATTRESS AND THE SALE ASSOCIATES A ZERO. PURCHASED A SLEEP NUMBER BED WITH BASE. WAS TOLD I HAVE 90 DAYS TO TRIAL THE BED, WHICH I DID AND Unfortunately it was uncomfortable. When ask to return the mattress was told I must keep the base. This was a RIP OFF. Please read all documents before signing. The worst mattress i have ever purchased. MY SHOULDERS HURT, AND VERY UNCOMFORTABLE to sleep. THEY ARE IN THE BUSSINESS OF taking customers money obviously, NOT SATISFYING CUSTOMERS. I JUST WANT A COMFORTABLE BED, ESPECIALLY FOR $6000. Customer service was also unhelpful. SO BEWARE BEFORE BUYING, Do NOT sign anything because in those documents it states you have to keep the base, very misleading information.

Wonderful service from this Sleep number. Walter provided a lot of professional advice regarding to the bed not only base on the knowledge but also his own experience as well. Also he let us tried a few beds, did the sleep number tests, as well as give us time to discuss on our own without pressure us. I'm highly recommended him if you need to purchase a bed.

My mother just purchased a sleep number bed. The sales experience was amazing. The salesperson, Catalina was patient, informative, professional, kind and followed through. Whoever hired her knew what they were doing! If you go, shop with her.

Expensive beds that last 15years, used to have a lifetime warranty but no more
