Worst people they think everyone is fraud I went to open up a business account they said that they need documents providing all the company documentation they asked for website and stuff which is still under process and now they are like without company website we don’t open account never heard of something like this

This bank is completely fraudulent. They say they can't close your account because they have withdrawn money from your account. When you withdraw all the money from your account, the payment appears as pending, and while there is a pending transfer, they still say they can't close it. When the pending goes, they reflect negative 15 dollars in the account and say they can't close the account because it is negative. So technically, you have to pay 15 dollars to close the account.

🚨 Terrible Customer Service at TD Bank Rego Park! 🚨
Every time I visit this branch, the wait times are ridiculously long—sometimes over an hour just to sit with a representative. The service here is completely inefficient, and customer care is nonexistent.
Most recently, I had an issue with an overdraft fee that was TD Bank’s fault because they failed to send my debit card on time, preventing me from depositing new checks into my account. When I asked if the fee could be waived, Assistant Store Manager SM Shohanul Shohan outright refused, even though he had the power to extend a customer assistance courtesy.
When I asked to speak to a supervisor, he lied and claimed he was the highest authority in the branch. He refused to confirm if this was bank policy and simply refused to escalate my concern further. His dismissive and unprofessional attitude was beyond frustrating.
What’s even worse? The treatment felt biased and discriminatory. While not all South Asian employees are biased against Black customers, the level of disrespect and lack of care I received was unacceptable.
TD Bank, do better. Train your staff on proper customer service, bias awareness, and accountability. No customer should have to deal with this level of incompetence and mistreatment.
I wouldn’t recommend this branch to ANYONE. If you’re banking here, be prepared for long waits, poor service, and zero accountability. 🚫👎🏾

This bank is the worst one you can open, they made me go back home just because my address information was not the same when my first and last name are there.

We went to open a new checking account on 01/12/24 at 95-25 Queens Blvd, rego park,NY- 11374. And the Person Named SHOHANUL was referred to us in order to help us. And that men told us that TX ID and PASSPORT is Mandatory besides my SSN and All ID. While on the same day we able to open an account at Kew Garden location. And we felt that he was so mean that he didn’t say Hello to us. We got such a bad from him that we will never refer any friends or family to particularly at that Location. I hope they have better staff who knows the all basic requirements and don’t just create their own to disappoint their new customers. ☹️☹️

I had an appointment setup at 1:30 with Brian to enroll in online banking and to get a new debit card and was seen punctually. The process was so quick and simple. Brian was very polite and professional and I couldn't asked for an easier experience. I had the complete opposite experience compared to other reviews.

I have been going to this branch, and have been banking with TD bank for years. This is my last time banking with TD as a whole. Today when going to deposit money to a relative the teller was asking me “why” I’m sending money and “what’s my source of income”. Which in my opinion is a breach of privacy and shouldn’t even be asking those questions in the first place. I go to the bank to deposit and withdraw money not answer who, what, where, why, and how.

Make sure to give yourself more time when visiting the bank versus going to another appointment or other things. if you're in a rush give yourself, maybe an hour to spare at this location. There's a lack of workers at the counter and a line is always formed.
Another note, you can't do much here if you're a non-member.
Need to exchange some money eventhough they're at a convenient location? Too bad better luck elsewhere.
