“If you’re looking an all in one stop for your wedding the Mohawk River Country Club is your venue! My husband and I got married here on August 1 and everything was absolutely perfect! Sal and his wife take care of you from the second you walk through that door and even after you leave. They’re a family owned business and they truly care about their customers and their venue. From the grounds, the food, the drinks, the service, everything was impeccable! Sal goes above and beyond to make sure all of your needs are met. My husband wanted a specific beer from a local brewery for our pub station and he made it happen! This place can be anything you want. If you want a low effort wedding where they do everything ( center pieces, table numbers, etc) they’ll do it! The grounds in the summer and fantastic and you don’t need anything! If you want a more upscale wedding where you bring in a bunch of different vendors Sal is great with coordinating with them. The venue also offers a beautiful bride AND groom suite on site for your bridal parties to get ready in. They supply you with drinks and lunch. There’s no need for a wedding coordinated because he does it all. Now for the food, WOW! Everything was absolutely amazing and delicious. We had about 200 people at our wedding with a variety of food allergies and they were to accommodate everyone! They even have a separate fryer for gluten free guests. The cocktail hour alone would be enough to feed everyone. If you really want to splurge, get the dessert bar because WOW. They had so much to offer that we had a ton of wedding cake left over! Heck might not even need a cake if you go with that option. Multiple guest came up to us at the end of the night and said it was the best food they’ve had at a wedding and the best wedding they’ve ever been to! Now for the pricing, compared to the other venues in the area I would consider the price very competitive! If you want a seamless wedding make sure you book Mohawk River Country Club today!”

“My bridal shower was amazing! My mom was in contact with Brittney. The communication and attention to detail were great. Brittney was there the day of the bridal shower and made sure we had everything we needed and answered all questions regarding food allergies. The food was absolutely delicious and the room was beautiful!”

“From the moment we walked into River Stone Manor for only our second venue tour, my husband and I knew this was the place for us. The space is just absolutely beautiful and has so many unique attributes, like the Manor House, that make all parts of the day special. We truly had the best day of our lives, and we are forever grateful to Carly and the entire River Stone team for making it so unforgettable.

The communication throughout the entire planning process was exceptional. Carly was always responsive, organized, and so reassuring, making what could have been a stressful process feel effortless. On the day of, Carly, Heather, and Ashley were all checking in to make sure we had everything we needed from the second we arrived.

Our wedding day didn't bring the best weather, but the team was incredibly patient with us as we made decisions. When we ultimately chose to move everything inside, they transformed the space into something absolutely breathtaking. It was even more beautiful than we could have imagined and worked out perfectly. We don't have an ounce of sadness as the inside space is truly just as beautiful.

The food was phenomenal, every single guest raved about it, and everyone left happy and full. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Totally recommend the french fry bar to end the evening!

A special shoutout to Laurie, one of our awesome bartenders! She was incredible. She somehow remembered everyone's drink orders and made every guest feel welcome. Even now, people are still telling us how amazing she was.

River Stone Manor gave us a wedding day that exceeded every single expectation. We can't thank Carly and the entire team enough for their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. Cullen - the event coordinator stayed in contact with us all the way leading to our event. He’s very nice and extremely knowledgeable. He provided a list of caterers to choose from which made the process much easier. He helped navigate with set up and break down of the event. Cullen took a couple groups of guests for tours of the other areas of the Hangar.
My husband & I were able to ride around in the US Navy jeep that’s part of the venue to get additional pictures out on the tarmac.
We had the best experience at The Hangar at 743 and would love to host another event there in the future.”

“The Titantic immersive experience is a wonderful exhibit, I thought there would be more things to look at but the VR was the best part. It takes you down to the ship now and what it looked like from within as well as some more that I don't want to spoil the surprises. Without a doubt do the VR experience you will not regret it 😉”

“Went here with my wife for my birthday. When she told them they gave us a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. How nice. We had a 3 wine flight of white and a three wine flight of red. We also got the Charcuterie board. We liked most of the wines and bought 2 bottles. The food was plentiful and tasty. It paired well with the wines. This was our first time there but it won't be our last. We want to thank the people at Galway Rock Winery for making my birthday a great time.”

“Proctor's is a great place to attend a show. The venue can make or break any show depending on the atmosphere, the sound system, and the people running it. While not perfect, Proctor's scores more reliably on each of these points, making it my favorite place to go for live entertainment.”

“My wedding reception here was everything I could have dreamed of. Shelley Francella made it all happen, along with her phenomenal team and amazing head chef. Me and my husband came to the Terrace not knowing what to do for a reception area, we are not from the Schenectady area so we know nothing about nothing. Shelley's ability to stay calm, she's been doing this for over 30 or 40 years. She remained professional and so kind, the staff mirror the same mentality. The food, my guests still speak about the food and wish they could come back. Shelley helped me pick a caterer for the cake and music/sound. You are also invited to do a taste testing and that was so much fun, with so many different people with future weddings or events. The price is worth it, absolutely worth it. I would not trade the experience I had with Max 410 with any other location”

“Good place to hold events such as birthday parties and baby showers. It's spacious and has a kitchen.There's room for a DJ hook up. There is nice lighting (chandeliers). This location used to be a bank and you can still see the vault inside!”

“Have you ever wanted to be surrounded by Hell's Kitchen playing at three different speeds? Have you ever gotten a menu with a newborn baby, some random dudes, and a girl swimming with a dolphin on it? Have you ever been approached by a barefooted man with a shrimp? Well I have the restaurant for you. Get treated like a family member and eat to your hearts content. This food is beyond good, and the atmosphere is unique. Similar to the outskirts of Las Vegas in Schenectady New York.”

The close proximity to the airport and the Northway makes it a perfect place to stay when you have an early morning flight.

The hotel bar was great, we had a great conversation with the bar tender and a couple of local regulars.

The room was clean, well stocked, and in generally good repair except for a bit of moisture damage in bathroom.”

“We’ve been to this hotel a couple times and it’s always been great! We recently had a visit, had a small issue and the General Manager Sheila dealt with the issue immediately. She not only fixed it but went above for us. She was very nice and professional. We will stay here every time we’re in the area and recommend it to others!”

“This review is ONLY for skate sharpening. I admit, I'm no expert on the topic. What I do know is that I brought in some VERY dull used skates, and when I got them back they weren't dull anymore. The staff was friendly. And to top it off, they charged less for figure skates than the other local option I found. I'll be going back the next time I need sharpening.”

“Clean and immaculate. Rooms were furnished lovely and had all the basics. No microwave but had a mini fridge and a mini coffee maker. (Microwave in breakfast area downstairs )
Room 417 had 2 queens with a room separator for a living room. Large couch and ottoman. Tv in the bedroom as well as a small work desk in the living room. Plenty of space for my family. They have pack n plays available as well. Bring your own pack n play sheets though!
Breakfast was served at 6:30am.
Cheese omelette, fried eggs, hard boiled eggs, bacon, fried potatoes, 3 cereals, flakes cheerios bran, milk and oat milk, oj and apple juice, banana, apples, fruit mix, berry mix, yogurt, granola, oatmeal cups, muffins, breads, English muffins, coffee/teas, hot coco, donut holes. Very good spread of options. The chef was on top of keeping the breakfast buffet full and was a delight to speak to.
The elevator was unfortunately making a horrific sound and did startle me. Out of the 2 one was out of service.
The gym looked nice but we didn’t use it.
Hotel staff was very pleasant and kind. They were exceptionally helpful when the pack n plays we first got was not functional, they replaced it and help set up the new one.
At the front desk they have a fridge of snacks for sale with good fresh options as well.

“I enjoyed staying here. The hotel is clean and accommodating. The food was good. The staff were all very friendly, professional, polite, and attentive. We utilized the super convenient and free shuttle service. I very much recommend using thr shuttle service.
There seemed to be a high level of attention to detail ingrained in their work culture. I think the excellent service is what made my experience so great. I very much appreciated the protien smoothies on the breakfast menu from Mr. D's. I wish more hotels offered them. The bar is very updated, with highly attentive bartenders. The atmosphere is very quaint, which makes the vibe unique and fun. I loved the koi pond, the inside courtyards, fountains, and live plants throughout the facility. The hotel is close to the train station, Albany Airport, and the capital building.”
