Many many reasons. Calling and saying the prescription is when in actuality it is not, long lines constantly and they never answer the phone. Could continue but got better things to do like change all prescriptions to TOPS pharmacy.

I feel like CVS get's an undeserved bad rap, so I wanted to give some positive feedback. 1) Pharmacy staff is very hard working and truly seem to be doing their best to take care of people. Everyone is friendly and if you need your medication NOW, they will expedite things and take care of you. I feel bad for them, they need more pharmacy staff. 2) I always like the deals and prices of CVS merchandise. There are bargains if you are willing to look for them. 3) Rhinebeck's store does need a good cleaning and a face lift. I don't know if that is staff's responsibility or if they contract out. If they contract out, shame on those people because they are certainly not doing a good job. If it is the staff's job, then hire more people. Everyone there is doing the best they can.

What happened? Empty shelves, messy empty shelves at the pharmacy counter, distracted overworked pharmacist, no stock, barely any staff, a sad sad vibe.

I had to change my pharmacy because the pharmacist was so incompetent and rude. She refused to call my health insurance provider when there was an issue with my card. Only at the pharmacy I didn’t have any other issues anywhere else. She told I need to call them again even though I explained to her that I called them twice and they said the problem is on the pharmacy side and they asked the pharmacist to contact them and explain what exactly the problem is. She was raising her voice at me and told me I can’t talk to her like that.I also witnessed the pharmacists being careless and incompetent with other costumers. None of the knew what Coricidin High Blood Pressure medication is. It was hard to believe. They ignored a person who was not feeling week and asked if they can call an ambulance because she wasn’t able to do it, when she asked for water they told her to wait and when they brought the water ask her to pay for it. People who work there have no empathy, no compassion. It used to be different but now it is the worse CVS pharmacy I’ve ever seen. I switched to red hook pharmacy. You can’t even compare those up places. They have such a professional and caring people in red hook.

I am actually sitting in the pharmacy now, having withdrawals from an SSR medication, Cymbalta, and the pharmacist has decided to vacuum the floor for 30 minutes and told me just to wait because she is alone. There's no line, just me. she can see me struggling but could really care less. Unbelievable. 30 minutes.

I've had nothing but good experiences at CVS (Rhinebeck) where I live now..... and between my partner and myself, we use the pharmacy for multiple medications. We recently had our boosters done by Patricia. Patricia is a real sweetheart......I trust her.....I'm conformable in the store.......I was always treated with respect. If I had to complain about something, it would be that there are loads of Christmas cards....there are Thanksgiving cards...and there are 5 Hanukkah cards...not even for the family........I have to go elsewhere for my cards. Otherwise their collection is extensive.

The folks that work here are nice and the pharmacy is great but the place itself is a neglected mess. The interior is dark, dated and messy, especially around cash registers. Landscaping in front looks like a complete disaster. The parking lot is filthy and full of trash particularly in the back next to an old grave yard which seems exceptionally disrespectful. A large lamp post has been snapped off and just lying there for months. It's embarrassing for both CVS and the the village of Rhinebeck who seems to be fine with such neglect!

A year into this Covid crisis and the isles are simply not marked for One Way passage. Other than that, it's your typical, cleaner than average, CVS. Got my vitamins. Got out

Went in there today for some necessities and was very impressed. The store was very orderly, clean and everyone was compliant with masks and social distancing. In fact the whole town of Rhinebeck seems to be in compliance, which is really incredible. There was a lovely staff member named Sue who went out of her way to help me find what I needed. Such a kindhearted soul and talking with her was like a breath of fresh air.

It's May and it still bothers me from two months ago when I was last here. I will never use this pharmacy again. During this time I am sure those working the pharmacy have been overwhelmed . The tension was there and the young girl with tattoos and the butch haircut slammed my bag down on the counter . The other Caribbean women with glasses also seemed annoyed. At first, I thought they were having a bad day with the chaos, we are human . I get it. But, when I was told I was hoarding medication cause my doctor prescribed me two months of asthma meds. I realized their caddy aggression was due to me getting double my normal meds. Just got over a year long lung infection from mold exposure that landed me in ICU. I live on daily neb treatment s and use my inhaler all day long . It sucks . My doctor wrote the script thought it was best to have an extra month so I would not have to go out being very high risk . Clearly, these ladies felt different and I was unaware their opinions were free with purchase. Last thing I needed was to be told the opposite of what my doctor advice was and to be embarrassed like that with the line behind me . I didn't even say anything because what would that do but make things worse. I called back when I realized I got the wrong inhaler and was told that's what we have and the one they ordered for me I have to take it and too bad. CVS gave me the generic inhaler although script said the one I requested. I made it clear I would pay more if my insurance didn't cover it. I called back the next day and the Caribbean woman said," I remember, you the one hoarding medication ". I asked for the better inhaler for the one they had coming cause it does not taste like sulphur and linger. Was not a problem in the past and now told again," too bad this is what we have take it or leave it". I don't know but these two women could use a course in ethics and hospitality. I never went back for the rest of my script / other inhaler and had my doctor write another script to a different pharmacy and rather pay another copay just to avoid the negative energy of you two ladies . Check up from the neck up! You nasty women will NEVER have the opportunity to make me feel like shit again. I couldn't imagine going to work everyday and being that filled with anger . I endured it for over an hour you both have to live with that everyday. Try Yoga works wonders!

Since Shipt shoppers can now shop at CVS stores, I've had two times here just recently where I needed to shop here for someone else. Although the first time was a bit alarming (about a month ago), two days ago I ended up doing some shopping for that same customer. Both times I felt out of touch with acknowledging the setup of this store, and today I went in again to really get things moving. I thought I wasn't going to buy anything when I first walked in, but when I saw just what I was missing from another local CVS nearer me, I knew I was in for a treat. Every time I went in, I always meet up with Susan at the register, and although she doesn't know who I am without my name (I'm just a Shipt Shopper to her), she recognized me on yesterday's visit and even on today's visit when I tried to really visualize the places layout. After going around and looking for items I might need to buy and really "outlining" the store in my mind, I decided it was well organized and had to buy something to not look like I had nothing in mind on their store's camera. But although the first thing I had put in my cart today was a "pill fob caddy" (for my key chain), I bought several things. When I got up to the register, I thought all CVS were created equal. They're not. I placed the order down on the counter and had to enter my own ExtraCare card number into the machine. All fine and dandy up to this point. Susan rang up the order - much like any other order, and after placing my own debit card in the card reader, I knew that I would be expecting a digital receipt. (Anytime I enter my rewards, I'm told I'm only getting a digital receipt.) Apparently, not here at this CVS, I'm afraid. When I told Susan what I knew from other stores "it's okay - I'm getting a digital receipt", she told me "What? Do you still want your printed receipt?" Although I'm still awaiting my digital receipt in my email, I'm glad I asked for the printed one to come. Can you please update your systems so that your ExtraCare card system is the same across all stores? Because this one didn't reflect the new system for my digital receipt, and I would have preferred the digital one (trying to go paperless, but I don't mind the occasional papered receipt). The store is pretty large - although not as large as some of them out there else. It's aisles though need to be expanded. The aisles felt a bit cramped, and especially near aisles containing food and seasonal items, there are some that I felt my cart wasn't going to fit through and it just felt cramped. Oh, by the way. The one cart I originally was pushing had a slight "tweak" sound as I went down the aisles. But when I went back into the entrance hallway to exchange it, I noticed that there are several types of carts - some wider and some deeper, while some aren't very wide at all. There are some up there in that hallway that seem broken that have been bent (where the cart back is "stuck" above the top of the cart). Can you also standardize the size of these carts and pull any "broken" carts off the "line" and out of your store? Sorry, but's one of my pet peeves for when I'm shopping either my own - or someone else's order...and I just had to mention it here instead.
