“Our first stay here, and it won't be our last! We've stayed at several lodgings in Rhinebeck over the years, but this is now our favorite.

There were three of us—three single women—and the second-floor Rockhouse (in its own wing) was the perfect fit. It has two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and one with two twin beds) and a shared bathroom, giving us just the right amount of space.

Self-check-in was simple, with clear instructions sent by text and email. Pamela and John were wonderful hosts, promptly answering our questions and providing an excellent list of restaurant recommendations.

The outdoor space was a highlight. We loved relaxing in the beautiful gardens during our downtime, and on cooler or rainy days, the cozy living room was the perfect place to unwind.

One thing to note: the clawfoot tub/shower can be a bit challenging to get in and out of, so it may not be ideal for everyone. That said, we're all in our 70s and managed just fine! This is a historic home, and its charming quirks are part of what makes the experience so special.

“I stayed her by myself for a night. It’s super close to town center (4min to Redhook or Rhinebeck). For the location and room, it’s a great price. The room was lovely. Made up like a studio apartment. A mini fridge, flatscreen tv, coffee maker, and breakfast bars. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It has a nice AC unit and good spacious shower. My only complaint was hearing the TV of my neighbor through the night, but thats pretty normal motel stuff. Lastly, there is a lovely green field to walk around in behind the motel. The owner, Trish, could not have been more friendly or helpful. I enjoyed it and will definitely be back.”

“Great spot in the middle of Rhinebeck. The Beekman is full of suprizes and an historic destination unto itself. Food was ok (meh) and service in the Tavern was a but pretentious. Atmosphere was great.”
