Hudson Valley Pottery is a ceramic studio in Rhinebeck, NY, dedicated to teaching pottery basics and beyond. It offers private lessons, courses, and group lessons. The instructor is patient, kind, welcoming, and a real master at the craft, providing the right amount of instruction. Students are coached through making their own amazing items and walked through the basics of using a pottery wheel, including centering and coning. Everyone gets individualized attention. It is an incredible time and one of the best parts of a trip to the area. The studio is highly recommended for first-timers, families, and groups, with a fun memory to take home. Setting up a lesson is very easy. The studio also has pottery for sale in its storefront gallery.
