Absolutely lovely Inn, located right in the heart of the town. Very charming inside. The hosts, John and Pamela, gave great suggestions where to go, dining and cocktails. Highly recommend the Gables of Rhinebeck!

Located just a block from the quaint downtown, the Gables has access to everything available there. Wonderful accommodations in a beautiful and relaxing place to visit. And the Inn keepers are very responsive to all needs.

The overall experience was exactly what we expected and as advertised. This is a charming and well preserved home, with a relaxed atmosphere. Fits in perfectly with the Rhinebeck experience. Slept soundly in the comfortable beds and loved the convenience of walking down the street to everything in town. We would stay here again.Walkability: Right down the street from the center of town. Super convenient.Food & drinks: Great croissants.

Super cool unique getaway with access to Amtrak and the mighty Huson river. Lots of nifty rustic details in the home and fun setup for kids with yard out back, stuff inside including two bed loft area.Nearby activities: Hudson River boat launch and park just down the street.Walkability: Right by the Amtrak station. Head to NYC and spend the day and then return a super easy option.Food & drinks: Great little restaurant and bar just around the corner and down a short hill (with takeout!) as well as a small store with lots of goodies just across the street.

Lovely historic home right downtown. The best part was that the hosts were very welcoming and even had toys for our grandson to play with.

Total bait and switch. Owner made it seem like we were booking the Inn via is website but rented us his Airbnb instead. Assured me the house was fabulous, close to town and a better deal. Instead the home did not live up to photos. The house was dark, dusty, dirty. Kitchen was gross. There’s only one usable shower. Toilet made a horrible noise. Impossible to get Ubers to town. Only pro was proximity to train. Beware.

Charming B&B! Sparkling clean, comfortable bed and amazingly fantastic bathroom (I stayed in the first floor unit). I booked at the last minute and was glad I did. I loved being able to walk to town and the room was quiet and peaceful.

Lovely. Storybook. Charming. We enjoyed our stay out Gables Inn of Rhinebeck. As a family of 4, with tall teenagers, we appreciated the Rock House room where 2 separate bedrooms share a bathroom in a private corner of the house. Rooms and bathroom were very clean and common areas were spacious and comfortable. Pam and John were always available to anything we needed and made sure we were comfortable. We indulged in croissants (with chocolate!) for breakfast with delicious coffee. The property is gorgeous, full of lush, beautiful gardens. These accommodations made for a special experience.Rooms: The Rock House room was perfect for our family of 4.Nearby activities: We chose to stay here as a central location to several National park historic sites we were visiting.

Room was clean, comfortable and the AC worked well. Big comfy king size bed. The bathroom had a HUGE jacuzzi bath which was marvelous. VERY hot water and excellent water pressure. Coffee in the morning was quite good. All told an excellent inn. Good location a block from downtown Rhinebeck too.

The hosts were courteous, the gardens were lovely, the coffee was excellent, and we loved being right beside all that the charming town had to offer. Great recommendations from the owners on outdoors activities and hikes. When you go, be sure to check out Ferncliff Forest and the Poet's Walk!

Thank you to the Innkeepers, John and Pam. This is such a beautiful, welcoming and comfortable Inn! They connected with us in advance of our arrival with the pertinent information about the Inn, as well as suggestions for dining and other things to do during our stay. We booked the Storm King room, which had a cozy seating area (perfectly tucked under those gables.) We found our stay relaxing and peaceful and look forward to another visit to The Gables!

Excellent all around! This was the most amazingly comfortable bed I have ever slept in - mattress like sleeping on a cloud! Sheets were like being wrapped in luxury! Best nigh sleep ever. Morning croissants were sooooo worth breaking from my high protein/no carb diet for. Perfectly yummy. Coffee hot and ready. This is in the PERFECT location in Rhinebeck. Quaint neighborhood made it easy to take a romp in town, hen around the adorable shops, and have dinner. Gardens were lovely. Rooms were clean clean clean! Spotless. Everything was super easy and convenient. Communication was excellent before, during and after my stay. They have a secure locked entry. I forgot the code and it was no problem. John just welcomed me and let me kn. John and his wife were wonderful hosts. Friendly and accommodating while being super respectful of space and privacy. I am going to make plans to visit Rhinebeck again just so I can return to The Gables. Thank you for a lovely stay. :)Sandy NicholsWelcomed from WisconsinNearby activities: Downtown Rhinebeck is an adorable town with shops and restaurants nestled in a bit of history.Safety: Extremely safe!Walkability: Step out and walk right into town while still tucked away in a quiet neighborhood.
