Call in advance to make sure the movie you’re seeing is in the larger theater. I just saw Killers of the Flower Moon, a 3.5 hour movie, played in the smaller theater. I don’t remember the first hour because there was what sounded like a dozen people right outside of the theater doors, chatting loudly and yelling at each other. The door to the theater is dead center to the screen and the first aisle of seats starts right at the entrance. After the first hour of noise from right outside the theater, people that worked there kept walking in for no apparent reason, just standing there. Every time the door opened, it let in a stream of light down the aisle. This happened at least 5 times. One of those times a man walked in and then turned on his phone flashlight. It was ridiculous. I’ve seen movies in the larger theater and there’s a lot of space between the entry door and the concession area, not to mention space between where the seats start and the door.

Wonderful indie theater, gotta support local arts. With all the distractions at home it's always a pleasure seeing a movie in the theater these days

Small intimate venue. Excellent film choices. Old school popcorn and candy. Attendants are very accommodating. Great place to see a movie.

Old fashioned, small, friendly movie theater showing art and intelligent films in two theaters. Popcorn and the usual. Comfortable. For shoot-em-ups and childish nonsense go to the malls.

I love this place. A funky throwback to the art cinemas of NYC from back in the day. Regency, Thalia, Little Carnegie: Your grandchild is alive and well in Rhinebeck.

Haven't been to a film in a long time, but it really was a good experience. It was Delightful, in fact. The Theater was the perfect size in which to sit and relax and become absorbed in a movie in a way that one can't experience in one's own home, no matter how large the screen is or how precise and expensive one"s sound system can be. Going to the theater to experience the movie is truly the best way to do it. And I really enjoyed being there. Their movie selection is really good too. I saw the movie on Michelangelo, but can't wait to see crypto zoo. And that is the place I'm going to go see it in. Nowhere else will do.

Just exploring the Hudson Valley this past week and my partner and I felt like finding a theater playing more art house stuff and we stumbled upon this place. Super cozy atmosphere, the dude comes out and announces upcoming movies and events and you can tell he really cares about the place, popcorn’s great, would love to come back. Saw the later showing of Pig, highly recommend that film as well!

Cool movie theater in same location for years. Showing first run and non commercial films in well maintained setting. Cash only, be prepared. Screen is well sized for the space. In the heart of Rhinebeck, makes for a night out with movie and dinner.

I watched The Pieces That I Am, the documentary about Toni Morrison this afternoon. Truly a moving film about a great American author. Thank you for making this film available in Dutchess County.

I love this place. What a sense of community you get when you attend a film screening here. It's small, intimate, and friendly. Just saw the Miles Davis documentary last night there. Remember though: cash or check only. No cards accepted
