Guided tours are a highlight, with knowledgeable and passionate staff who share fascinating stories about the house and its connection to notable figures like FDR. While photography inside the house is not permitted, guests still find the interior impressive and engaging. The tours, lasting about an hour, cover two levels of the house, allowing ample time to explore and absorb the information provided. Despite some limitations, such as restricted access to the top level, visitors consistently describe their experiences as informative and enjoyable. Very interesting tour and a different history than most other museums in the area. Would recommend and support as this museum continues its restoration work

This is a jewel of a site that is less well known than other Hudson Valley Mansions. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is that there is no photography allowed inside.
