I walked into the bank to open a CD. I was told that I couldn't be helped because it was an hour before closing and they stop taking customers for new accounts an hour before closing. I insisted that they help me. They told me that I had to open a checking account in order to get the advertised rate on the CD. So I opened a checking account and a CD. Two weeks later, I still had not received my debit card or checks. I called the branch but could not get anyone to answer the phone. I called the 1-800 number and was told that the checks were never ordered and only an ATM card was ordered for me. Since I hadn't received the ATM card, the representative told me he would cancel that card and order the debit card. Another two weeks have passed and I still hadn't received the debit card. I have called the Myrtle Avenue branch location six times. Each time, they let the phone ring about 10 times and then pick up the receiver and slam it back down. I called the 1-800 number and they told me that the debit card was never ordered. Where do they find their employees? They are totally inept.

Went and got 2 rolls of quarters from the bank. Started doing laundry a few minutes ago. Wasn't sure why the machine wasn't working. Turns out one of my rolls of quarters had 2 nickels in it. Guess I gotta check my quarts I get from banks now, thanks chase.

Racist maybe idk, but from what I’ve witnessed myself i came in to open an account for my daughter they had me wait nobody asked me what i needed help with but other hispanic (I’m of darker descent) people came in they easily walked up to them “how can i help you” once i spoke up i got oh we don’t have anyone available at the moment you will have to come in another day. I never went back only to use the atm. Today 2/8/23 my husband who is blk comes in to open a business account nobody greeted him he ask to speak to an agent about an account they told him to wait until someone is available he waited for an hr someone came in (hispanic) after him and they helped them with no problem. Someone finally came to him asked him what he needed help with they said “We cant help you we are about to close the process is goin to take to long” i have been to chases where an agent would stay late to help a customer. Ive never had a good experience with this chase its disgusting.

I want to give them zero star. Customer services is at its worst. Came to the branch twice to open an account for my son , first as a walk-in and second with an appointment but the representative was out of the office. The representatives have a nasty attitude and not resourceful.

Walked in to request some documents for income verification. I asked someone in the customer service area who could help me with that, she told me take a seat and she'd see who's available. There were two people already waiting there, they left about 10 minutes after I sat down. I saw at least 4 employees in the customer service area. After 25 minutes of waiting and not a single employee coming over to offer assistance I walked out. It's a shame this is the only branch anywhere in the neighborhood.

my daughter had an appointment to open a checking account we were 8 minutes late then a small Hispanic woman with a super bad activity came out and said she couldn't attend us so we made another appointment as soon as possible and with that terrible attitude we couldn't make another appointment because supposedly didn't date.. those kind of people shouldn't work in customer service bad for chase

It was one of my wore experiences visiting the Chase bank at 60-67 Myrtle Ave, Ridgewood branch. We had an appointment with the banker name Marie Marius to open new bank account for our kids. We called earlier and ask about the required document where she stated the copy of the documents would work but when we visited the bank ,she say we need the original documents and told us to get it if we live around the location. We requested for new appointment but she told us we do not require new appointment, just go home and get the document by 1:00 pm. We got home running and got back to the bank on time . She was with another client and made us wait for almost for half hour. At 1:30 pm she sent another employee to canceled the appointment because she had to go for lunch. And would not even reschedule the appointment. So we went to another bank to open the account where the employees were very professional. I have been their customer for almost 10 years now it feels like I have to change the bank. I will never recommend anybody to this brach.

Helpful tellers but horrible over the phone customer service, I called to ask a question and while it was ringing connecting me to someone at the branch the call ended mid ringing, they had hung up on me

I've been coming to this chase for years and also use there ? ATM, I never had any problems. The staff has always been professional, Knowledgeable in helping me and others. I have no complaints, they have excellent customer service. ?

Customer service area has so many issues. I came with two senior citizens and they were taking everyone that came after us. There’s 6 or 7 of them working and you can see that they were avoiding us, very discriminating. Their excuse that they couldn’t take us right away because of appointments which wasn’t true because there was a person next to us without an appointment and they took him before us. We waited 45 minutes to get seen. Unfortunately there isn’t a closer branch I could take them too. Very disappointing to see how they don’t want to deal with seniors.
