We were looking for somewhere around this area by was limited choices for our budget so booked this and after reading reviews we were slightly concerned but it was ok, wouldn’t choose to stay again or even go to riverhead again but it served its purpose so can’t complain too much.

This hotel is beautifully located right where the North Fork and South Fork split and really suitable for all kinds of day trips on Long Island. It’s also just a short walk away from yummy food places in the Riverhead town center (I recommend Goldberg Bagels). Parking is free and the staff is extremely helpful and really kind - it was truly a pleasure. We didn’t check out the pool, but would’ve loved to - it looked really good. The rooms were very spacious and nicely decorated, the infrastructure of the hotel very convenient. There are little barbecue stations, parking in front of all buildings and basics like Tylenol available in the lobby. The price was really good for the value and can’t be beat in the area!! 100% recommend, I will be back! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We booked a room for four people but were provided with one double and one single bed. When I inquired at the front desk, I was told there was nothing they could do. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The hotel appears quite outdated, with visible mold in the shower, malfunctioning fixtures, and an HVAC window unit that struggled to cool the room adequately.

Terrible staff rude person and no help. I am bussiness I had my driver stayed in the hotel for less then 4 hours. My driver came in at 1115 pm to Hotel and no one was around to let him in. He has to call phone to contact person to let him in to room, it took them 35 min to get room open, with sleepy face. He got to room at midnight room was freezeeing and no blankets were any where to be found. He shut air conditioner off because there was no control of temperature only on or off. He slept for 3 hours and room got very hot he woke up by 4 am and couldn't sleep any longer It was terrible night After driving for 8 hours and need to drive back to NYC at 7 am back. I called hotel to resolve problem and same person was very rude at 3pm hung up on me.

I've stayed there many nights and for the price and cleanliness of the place . staff is always accommodating to your needs. If something is wrong with the room changed to another one with no problem

I stay at the budget last night an it was nasty bed bugs and roaches no microwave it look like a Crack hotel I want my money back the board of health need to go there an I'm going to call them my wife was crying because it was her birthday I feel bad for making her experience that

I love this adorable antique beautiful inn. I have lived on Long Island my whole life and have basically stayed in every hotel all the way to Montauk. I have never ever had the amazing staff this place has. My family and I were in between residences and were going through such a hard time in our lives and this place made it feel like a home to us. Even my service dog was going through much anxiety till we came here , there's so much beautiful property to enjoy. The grounds are immaculate. The rooms are clean and have a microwave and a fridge. The pool is beautiful. There's places to eat within walking distance wifi. There are people that stay here through all walks of life I have noticed. I love this little hidden gem of a place. Thank you all from Budget Host Inn for making us feel welcome and amazing in our hard times.

Hot water never worked!!!!! Rooms were very old and dated. Staff was friendly - even though many did not speak English creating further challenges.
