This is the last time I buy garlic at this place.
Not to mention go to customer service desk.
Last 3 times (3 bags) I've purchased, 1/3 of each bags were moldy, sticky from some sorta liquid and I had to throw them out.
From the dry ones, after peeling them, I had to cut off chunks because they were discolored(brown and moldy). After sorting out the decent ones and peeling them, my body gets so itchy for hours. So nasty. I don't even want to go to their customer service anymore because they are very rude. They should sell garlic and Benadryl together. This is so bad, it's only under 10 dollars but all the work and itching, it's not worth it.
There had been so many unpleasant incidents at this particular branch, but I only decided to write something today, because no one should go through this itching.
So sad, this place used to be ok 3 years ago.

Horrible customer service and the rudest employees.

The overall quality of the employees at this store have been steadily declining over the past year or so. I believe it is probably due to poor management or lax hiring practices. There's many rude employees including the customer service people who make you feel like a criminal when trying to return things (yes, even with receipts), several of the checkout lane people and one of guys that checks your stuff on the way out is an absolute nightmare. He actually admonished me for using the self checkout line with 23 items, despite the fact that I was on a regular one first, and a manager directed me to the self checkout. One of the cashiers had a meltdown a few weeks ago because I did not want an upgraded membership despite her aggressively asking me several times and questioning why I would ever turn the offer down. She became so angry and threw the checkout gun down so hard on the belt that it bounced up and fell on the floor after slamming my items down on the belt. After one final visit this week and getting the same generally poor treatment, I decided to leave and go down the road to BJ's where I was treated like a human being. Its a shame, because I really like the products. I'll try another location for them. Really, it's a shame but I am sure other people are noticing this behavior too. People are stressed out enough as it is. We don't need this place to make it worse by treating us in such a disrespectful manner.

It's Costco what's not to love about this store I have never purchased anything that wasn't good from this store & if it's not to your liking for any reason just bring it back for a refund.

I have been Costco shopper for quite a long time. The customer service has disappeared almost completely . The cashiers are typically rude, not just unfriendly but actually rude. I don’t understand what’s happened here but it is a genuinely unpleasant experience every time I walk in the door

I had a return to make and I was not looking forward to it as the return line is typically a time consuming experience.
The Riverhead Costco was quick and efficient!
