This location is horrible. I was waiting in line 15 min before the pharmacy closed. They were taking forever with each customer. My turn came up just at 6 when they were closing. They shut the window on me and would not attend me. They should have had the decency to at least help the ones in line before closing time. It was extremely unprofessional and impolite. To add to that you are a pharmacy of all places.

Used to be very efficient. One time I was on hold driving from my home and walked into the pharmacy to see workers ignoring the call. They don’t answer the phones and the scripts are never ready or they can’t find them. I switched pharmacies and am much happier.

We like this pharmacy. We understand the situation, but a pharmacy cannot function with ONE pharmacist doing all the work including shelving and cash registration. There is a long line and the female pharmacist always looked exhausted. And if you call, they just won’t pick up phone calls. Not everyone can go to the pharmacy just to be told their prescriptions are not ready. Remember when CVS hire people for better customer service? I bet this will be good for their lonely staff.

If I need to speak to a pharmacist by phone they never answer their phone and I’m usually on hold waiting for 15 or more minutes before I hang up. When I go inside I’m completely ignored for over 15 minutes and when they finally to address me it’s like I’m an inconvenience. A manager needs to train these pharmacists to have better people skills and prioritize the customers.

The woman behind the counter seems to have a habit of ignoring customers as they approach the counter . I tried to pick up my script and she didn't acknowledge me at all and after 10 minutes i left. If she was busy, she could have at least greeted me and let me know it would be a few minutes. I never did get my medicine. This isn't the first time this has happened . My husband got tired of instances like this and switched pharmacies.

Would avoid it at all costs, change your pharmacy. Unreliable. They close without saying anything or giving anyone notice. Went to pick up a pretty important medicine, closed a half hour before their scheduled lunch and did not open back up. Completely unreliable. This has happened multiple times aswell. They closed for a week not too long ago and didn’t tell anyone or put any type of signs up. DO NOT GO HERE.

I would avoid this pharmacy at all costs. They don’t have it together at all.Went in to pick up two prescriptions. The girl didn’t say anything to me and started what I assumed was working on it. (This was after I was told it was ready beforehand otherwise I wouldn’t have gone in.) ten minutes later she tells me she’s working on making my medications. After waiting 30 minutes (making me late getting back on my lunch break) I’m told one of my medications isn’t available and is on back order. No communication with me about this during the process. I was clearly upset, and started to leave as the other girl yells out that my other prescription is done though. She yelled out the actual prescription name which I would prefer is not being yelled out for other people to hear. Just overall every time I come here, the employees are miserable.

This place is HORRIBLE. This pharmacist does not care about his customers one bit . The service is terrible . Getting a prescription filled is hit or miss , completely unreliable . Then when you go to pick up your prescription a day after they told you it would be filled , you're ignored by the staff behind the counter . Shame on you CVS for allowing this kind of behavior from what should be caring , compassionate staff . I'm completely disgusted and will change my pharmacy to a locally owned business. If I could give this place a negative rating I would .

Just returned from the pharmacy and I was very put off by the people behind the counter. One woman working who was wearing a head scarf had her nose fully exposed for at least 15 minutes before I approached. When the customers include high risk patients coming in to fill prescriptions & you work in the medical field you should be way more responsible than that. I politely mentioned this to the guy at the pharmacy register and he waved it off saying "ah, we can't wear masks all day long!" Yet, it's CVS's policy that their employees wear masks. Very unprofessional!

I use the CVS in Rocky Pt., NY. My insurance requires me to use CVS or I would not be a customer. If you call to speak to the pharmacist, it takes 2 minutes listening to all of their options and information before the recording switches you over to the pharmacy phone. Then there is a wait of approximately 10 minutes. There is always a long wait to pick up meds, whether you go to the car pick up or go inside. Additionally, when a Rx is written and it is too early to fill it, the pharmacist never has it ready on the date that it is supposed to be picked up (or even a few days later.) You have to Call Them and ask them to fill it so that you can pick it up! My mother and I had to switch our Rxs to another CVS (Wading River) as the Rocky Point pharmacy closed for a short period of time. When the Rocky Point store reopened and we had switched our Rxs back, they were unable to fill one of my mother's Rx there. They said they could not get that dosage (BP medication) and that I would have to continue to pick it up at the other CVS (Wading River). I asked why they could not order the dosage my Mom needed in Rocky Point and the pharmacist said they tried to order it but couldn't get it! (???) I asked how one CVS can get the med in that dosage but not the other CVS? The pharmacist said she didn't know why. So I have to drive 5 miles to another CVS for one medication. I could go on, but that gives you an idea of the (lack of) customer service.
