What’s going on with Lids Riverhead today ? Google said been it’s open since 9am . Been here since 11:00am it’s 11:55am now, no one is back yet . Customers keep pulling up & leaving .

Came to the store at 11:20am and the doors was closed. The sign says they won’t be back until 1:00pm ??♂️. Lunch break isn’t that long and it’s mid day for the doors to be locked this early

today as I pulled into the parking lot, a man wearing a blue sweatshirt, locked the door, Hit the lights, and left a sign indicating that he would be back soon. I figured he was probably going on break. That was at 4:45 PM. I waited up until 5:45 and he never came back and there was no indication of if or when he was coming back. Pretty disappointed that I just wasted a whole hour. Wound up leaving because who knows when the kid was coming back.

Close early, mall closes at 8, they lock doors at 752, not professional doing so, buying a hat can take 1-3 min

I was really bummed today when I went to Tanger to grab a few things (including a Yankees hat) and the store doors were locked. I had thought maybe they closed early (It was 4:00pm). There were 2 guys standing around near the doorway and not looking when I politely tried asking if they were closed. One of them (with his back turned) stuck his hand out and pointed to a sign on the door that said "Back in 30." They then came out of the store and I asked if they were taking a break. They both replied "yeah 30 minute dinner" and proceeded to walk away. My issue with this is that both of them were leaving the store. Keep in mind this is in a shopping mall where there are hundreds of people in and out of businesses. I was wondering why they BOTH were leaving the store to get dinner...Also why it was implied so rudely that I was in the wrong to be asking if they were going to lock the store during operational hours and have a bite. I get it. The boys have to eat but, both. at. the. same. time. Poor company management I suppose. This is a very long review for a very short circumstance but you get the point. Lost my sale, and will go directly to the New Era website (right now).DO BETTER LIDS...

They need to get registers because it makes the employees have to work harder and it takes a longer time for them to ring up customers employee was so kind as he attempted over and over to enter information to ring me up and repeatedly had to start over again because the handheld device is not working hope they’re paying him well they need to give him a raise

Never have I ever gone into a store and been overcharged, and the employee not correct the mistake until today. I am visiting from Phoenix and found a hat that I thought my son would love. I proceeded to pay for the hat. When I went outside, I thought to myself, "boy, their tax must be high," only to discover that I was overcharged $5.00. The hat was marked 41.99 and the cashier charged me $46.99. He then told me it was store policy not to give me the difference. I told him you could not charge me more than the marked price. He said he had no pricing policy and that if he gave me the $5.00, he would get in trouble. Are you kidding me? Now I would have had no problem paying the 46.99 had the hat been marked as such. Well, stupid me did not return the hat because I want my son to have the cap, but I am pissed I was ripped off, and everyone from he to AZ will no of my experience. My son collects hats and has well over 50, and I will never purchase from LIDS again. I hope whoever is reading this review follows my lead and never shops at LIDS again. Don't get ripped off.

Horrible company with horrible policies. The specific employees that work at this store are unhelpful, arrogant, unfriendly, and have no business working in a social or sales environment.
