First of all, one star because anything lower is not available! Purchased a professional level oven from them a couple years ago with a three year extended warranty .( still hasn't expired).Recently called them with a few problems. Technician came and was here well over an hour inspecting the unit.he decided problems were too great to fix! ( thermostat issues , can't get temps that its set for, chaotic ignition of the burners, oven door is not closing to insure proper seal). when spoke to the claim department representative, he claimed all of this was due to the "abusive" use of the oven ( still don't understand how a thermostat and chaotic ignition issues are due to abusive use) and they won't be paying for it. By the way there's not a single evidence of abuse and ask them to come and inspect it but it was refused by the representative. I went back to the store to find out my other options. Store manager basically said there is nothing he could do and recommended to buy a new oven! needless to say I won't be buying anything from them in the future. I hope this helps anyone who is planning to purchase an expensive item from them because their so called "extended" warranty isn't even worth the paper that its written on.. Obviously product I purchased, wasn't built as good as they advertised! Customer service none existing!! Date of experience: March 11, 2024

I must share how beyond satisfied I am with the service I received from Mary Rose Bilello. She is the most efficient, kind, courteous and patient employee there at Lowe’s. I am just overwhelmed because in today’s world one does not get treated as a valued customer. She went above and beyond to help me pick out doors for my sliders going out to my sunroom. Although it turned out to be more money than I expected, I decided to go with this because Mary Rose made me feel very comfortable and genuinely cared about me and my purchase. She is an asset to Lowe’s.

I came into return a few items right before closing, and was very negatively received by Betty. She was nasty from the time I came in (I’m sure she wanted to go home, but it was still open) but seemed to get pleasure in the fact that all my items weren’t coming up on my lowes credit card, even though I had purchased the items together. And when I asked if there was any way to search the card, she just said “no”. This happens a lot at that store where you try to return an item that you purchased on your Lowe’s card at a different store and it doesn’t come up. It’s very frustrating that the computer system can be challenging, but then to have an employee that’s just flat out snarky and rude makes it worse. Now I have to go back on another day with the receipt. The whole reason I use my card is so I don’t have to worry about saving receipts.

Used to go to lowes all the time. They instituted a no return policy after 90 days. Not even store credit. Horrible way to lose a loyal customer. Back to HD.

My favorite hardware store with comparable prices to the other nib chains ..BUT the difference is their staff, always solicitous , asking to help find things , advising you with real knowledge … I’ve wandered other brand shops for hours looking for things like a zombie going down one aisle after another .. NOT AT LOWES ! I love especially Leo’s advice at the riverhead shop

If you have another choice take it, I’ve been waiting 2 weeks for a dishwasher that was in stock when I ordered it. The salesman told me it was in the back he even went to check because I would have picked a different mode. after it didn’t come I called and was on hold for over an hour just to be told they didn’t save my number or name to the order and that it was on back order and I’d have to wait or cancel the order. I called again because this is the second time I wasn’t informed it wasn’t coming and that that’s just the way this system works. I hate this Lowe’s now and I hope people read this so they don’t have to experience the frustration I have had to endure.

Great Lowes. They had what I needed so I did not have to go anywhere else.

Been a Home Depot customer for years. Always thought Lowes was more expensive. Lately, I found prices to be somewhat better at Lowes; however, I'll be going back to Home Depot again. Home Depot isn't perfect, but it's a heck of a lot better than Lowes. One problem at Lowes is that managers all seem to have different opinions or understanding of Lowes store policies. When you ask a store employee about the "Lowes Price Guarantee" or some other question, you often hear, "It depends on what manager is on duty." For example, I was told that Lowes had a 30 day price matching guarantee. Salesman said, "Find a better price and Lowes will match the price." I had asked for something in writing, but I was told to go to Customer Service. Customer Service, however, couldn't (or wouldn't) provide one. When I asked another store employee if the Price Match Guarantee was 30 days from the purchase date or 30 days from the delivery date (which was almost 2 weeks later), I was told it depended on the manager. When I went to Customer Service, Jake (the Front End Manager) said the price match guarantee was only two weeks. Not 30 days. I guess it really does depend on the manager. No consistency. Also, when you return something, make sure you check your receipt before you go. I had returned various items on several receipts, and the Customer Service Rep at the Returns Desk neglected to scan one item. It was a small item for around $7.00, but I didn't notice it until I got home. Not a big deal, but they said they had to review the "Las Vegas" ceiling camera to review the return. When they did not call back, I had to call them several times after which they said everything was scanned correctly, but that one of the items had been scanned twice and then it was removed. I think this is where the error occurred. I returned 7 items, but they only credited me for 6. Anyway, not a big deal. Just kind of made me feel like they thought I was trying to get away with something. Seemed rather silly for a $7.00 item. It wasn't the $7.00 as much as it was the principal of the thing. Riverhead Lowes, you can keep the $7.00, but it's unlikely that I will be back.

You can look up what you want ahead of time and get a direct location in the store. Also very helpful, non condescending staff!

the speakers that they have outside are nauseating. I know I'm at lowes, these loud ass speakers don't need to tell me welcome to lowes. it's annoying and so unnecessarily loud

We went to look at lawnmowers. I was set on a gas mower but couldn’t get a Snapper anymore. We were directed to Kelly who was diligently helping a customer find an item. When she spoke to us she was friendly, knowledgeable, patient and had no personal agenda. She introduced the idea of a battery powered mower and after spending time giving us info we decided to buy and Ego product. I used it yesterday and I LOVE it! But even better than that ... old fashioned customer service! Many thanks Kelly!
