On 6/25/24 I came to Oakley Tanger Outlet. The frames and lenses I liked were not in stock. Sales associate Matt said he could special order them for me. I placed order, about $240, glasses were delivered in about 2 weeks.
When I opened them up, I saw a small imperfection on one of the lenses. I came back to where I placed order today 7/23/24. Sales associate Matt was in store. I showed him glasses and instead of resolving the issue, he insinuated that I scratched the lenses, and that I could purchase another set of lenses. I reminded him that I ordered these from him less than 30 days ago. Instead of doing the right thing for a defective product that I received, he told me I didn’t purchase the extended warranty and he could not help me…that my only option was to call customer service.
I did not purchase these glasses from the store where I could inspect them with an associate prior to payment. They were sent to my home, and defective when I inspected them.
My previous pair of Oakley glasses and lenses I had for 8 years….used them in all kinds of weather, never an issue. The brand was always reputable. Now I buy a pair, comes to me defective, and the store and sales associate who quickly took my money and placed order not only refused to rectify the situation, but accused me of damaging the product. I was not looking for a refund of any sort, I just wanted a new lens. Very poor customer service… I will be following up with Oakley Corporate on this.

The people who work here are great. They have experiance in everthing Oakley from eyewear to active wear. The products are of great quality we know but the staff are equally as important to make sure you get exactly what you need. Which they do.

Was told you can’t swap lenses to match frames in store anymore.. the frames are there and the lenses I wanted were there. Every other time I’ve gone in, it was mix and match, no problem. Now you have to buy whatever frames are in there to begin with, then buy the lenses separately. So, what’s the point of having a store to begin with?
