Although I was in & waiting 1st to check in for my appointment they took a walk in 1st.
They took a little longer than expected. They tried to seem personal but lack to notice it was Veterans Day I’m wearing a big Veteran’s shirt & have Veterans plates on my car. As I walk out the check in person says have a nice holiday & I say happy Veterans Day! He says thanksgiving 🧐🤨
I can see the attempt but it’s Ironic to not notice right in front of you on the holiday it was. Oh well. I’ll be back again. Thanks

Easy oil and filter change for my Tucson hybrid after it's break in period.
More recently, Riverhead Hyundai resolved an issue with my car's lithium battery and user authentication system. They were able to effect repairs under warranty and provided a loaner during the repair. Much appreciated.
Update for June 24, 2025... another scheduled oil change and tire rotation. On time and done efficiently.

Fran at riverhead Hyundai was absolutely wonderful and took great care of me. And I really appreciated how fast they got my car fixed and back to me. There was not one issue throughout the whole thing and I couldn’t believe how smooth the whole everything went for me. Had a great experience with Ed. Super responsive and everything at signing was clear, fast and efficient. Looking forward to my 3 year lease, and taking advantage of the free oil changes and service at the location.
Removing 2 stars as I feel there is a lack of urgency in trying to help me figure outhow to get a high pitched whistling sound when the car goes over 55 mph diagnosed. They can’t schedule a specific time to diagnose it to see if the issue is under warranty. Instead I have to leave it 24-48 hours and figure out how to coordinate a drop off and pick up - as I’m 30 minutes away, its a lot to ask for a friend to spend an hour, twice for the drop off/pick up. If one was able to actually schedule that diagnostic or provide a loaner it would make it more doable. For now, I’m putting up with the noise, which is adding to my overall dissatisfaction with the vehicle.

This is the second time I serviced my car. The staff is usually very nice and very helpful , But only disappointment is that I have to sit there and wait hours and hours for my car to be serviced.

I have been a longtime customer of Riverhead Hyundai and while I have always had great experiences there this was by far the best. David Hill was the sales associate I worked with and he was absolutely fantastic! His knowledge and patience was greatly appreciated. Special thanks to Tommy as well. I highly recommend this dealership.

I bought by son a new 2023 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid with 40 miles on it but the dealership sold the car as used so I am told that we only get 5 of the Hyundai provided 10 year warranty but, I could get the full warranty for an extra $2,500!
So here they are trying to cash in on a warranty that is supposed to come with the car for free!
I didn’t go for it and spoke with Hyundai and the car does, in fact, come with a 10 year 100,000 mile warranty!
At the end of the day we got the car we wanted along with the warranty but the way they do business seems criminal.
Our sales guy was excellent I must say but watch that snake of a finance guy!
