!!!!RACIST EMPLOYEE EMPLOYEE AT THIS LOCATION
I simply wanted to print a shipping label at this location and asked them if they could print it for me because I’ve done it in the past. The Caucasian curly hair middle aged woman said “I need a QR code”. You can literally look it up by order number and then print it. That’s what I done in the past. Wasted my entire 30 minutes finding the so called “special” QR code.
While I was occupied, a racist while (also) middle aged woman came in and said a comment about Latinos carrying Lyme disease and more racist remarks of Latinos. The lady WHO couldn’t print my label NODDED IN AGREEMENT?! That really ticked me off and I took my package and said nothing. She needs to be confronted

I wish I could rate this higher but between poor service and attitude problems I prefer Aquebogue Post Office. When I spoke to Riverhead postmaster she was very nice and said she would take care of it. Lo and behold problem continued the next day. Unbelievable situation. I’m writing to my congressman they need to hire mail delivery personnel who have a degree of intelligence.

This RIVERHEAD Location needs to have their employees trained. I went there to have my COD verified via barcode from my phone and the employee couldn’t do it. Said I needed extra documents etc (which I didn’t). He never even scanned the barcode or even knew how to scan it. I went to the AQUEBOGUE Location and they were able to scan the barcode and I was out of there in less than 2 minutes! Thank you Erick! It’s 2024 RIVERHEAD; get with the times!

This has been the worst experience I've ever had at this place. The manager, or whoever was supposed to be helping these guys, was laughing and not making any effort to find a solution. The passport appointment system doesn't even work; it's useless. You make an appointment, and if you don't receive a text message, it's as if it never happened because the system kicks you off for not receiving a confirmation number. This is extremely unprofessional. It was absurd to see the guy laughing. All he said was I could reschedule. Why would I even bother doing it here when they're all so unprofessional? That's why this place only has two stars. Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews before coming here. I strongly advise against going here at all.

Showed up at 5:58 to the door already locked when they close at 6, I have worked in many service industry jobs and if the customer is their before you close you help the customer, had 3 separate employees tell me they couldn’t do a certified mail bc I have to still fill out an address and form and they close in 2 mins, I am a blue collar hard working man who pays his taxes and the Us post office refused me service when there hours of operation is 6pm. Very unhappy I understand everyone wants to go home but even if it took till 6:05 to complete what’s the difference between that and maybe getting stuck in 5 mins of traffic on the way home.
