My Dr called in a prescription for my pending procedure. I went to pick it up and was told they had to order it and it should be in tomorrow. I asked didn't my Dr call it in? They said yes but we will order it for you now. Why would they wait to order a prescription they didn't have after it was called in by my Dr! This is the 2nd time something like this has happened there! Why would I have to come in to pick it up only for them to order it when I get there only for me to go back. Now if they don't get it in by tomorrow I have to hope I can get it elsewhere as to not have to cancel my procedure. Seems like who ever is running the pharmacy in Riverhead could careless about their customers. Very sad!

It's nice enough, but one of the pharmacy techs bites her nails which can't be sanitary (I watched her do this while handing a patient her prescription), and the other is currently cursing and laughing at the top of her lungs while chatting with her friend who is at the drive through. It's a pharmacy - cleanliness and quiet should be much more highly prioritized. This is a disgrace, Walgreens!

Was asked to leave walgreens yesterday by two store employees after remarking that they didn't seem to know what they were doing when they were activating $450. In gift cards. My only comment was " your not instilling a lot of confidence in this purchase. This was after watching the cashier have difficulty ringing up a newspaper for the customer before me. After my remark the cashier lowered her mask and copped an attitude with me., to which my only remark to her was " you can even ring up a news paper"..walgreens should should keep in mind that CVS is right down the road.. You have lost one faithful customer

Do not use Walgreens for Covid 19 testing if you are going on a trip. The airline requires test results within 72 hours. The people at this store promised me that if I did the test on a Thursday, I would get results AFTER Sunday. I did not. Go to Wellnow Urgent care, they are pleasant, prompt and guarantee results in 24-48 hours.

Horrible employer to work for stay away. HR does not do anything to employees that maliciously attack their own. Everyone in pharmacy stays on their phones not willing to help anyone. The pharmacist wants to be friends with everyone and not their boss. Multiple complaints made to upper management and nothing done. They tried to do harm to their own in pharmacy by placing crates behind people they don't like. The store manager Eric was horrible to his employees and made them feel belittled. I hope who ever hires the store manager in a new place does not put up with his s**** Stay away if you can there are plenty of other stores out there.

Ran in quick to get batteries and was in and out in no-time. The cashier was speedy and friendly. Very convenient. Store seemed clean and well-stocked. Would return!

This Walgreens is useless! They take forever to answer phones, put you on hold, then flip you to a phone that rings forever. We were trying to fill an emergency prescription that was going to take up to four days for Riverhead Walgreens to complete. The first day we were told they were too busy to fill it! The second day we were told it wasn't in stock. Then they said it could do take two days to get it. Where are the managers? Do they know what's going on? Go to the Walgreens in Wading River or Medford. They were very helpful, checking where there was stock available and filling the prescription within an hour! We were lucky to get in contact with these very reliable and helpful staff and pharmacists. Do yourself a favor and make the trip to either of these Walgreens instead of the one in Riverhead!
