Every time I come here they take my concerns seriously and are extremely communicative about everything going on. The women who set payment plans and run scheduling are super transparent about everything as well, and are flexible beyond belief when it comes to rescheduling. I go to Aspen in Henrietta and I highly recommend them!

I can't give a 0 but I would if I could. Went in because I was experiencing some pain and didn't have a primary dentist. The "dentist" I saw did not address the tooth I came in to get looked at but rather said I needed a root canal on a tooth I was not experiencing any pain in. I panicked so I agreed to the root canal. They said if the root canal didn't work I would need surgery which was red flag number 1, I think they knew it "wouldn't work" because hello, if I had to come back for "surgery" that's more money for them. Now the area I allegedly needed the root canal for actually hurts and the pain I went in for wasn't ever addressed I had to go somewhere else!!!!!! DO NOT come here I am absolutely begging you do not put yourself through this. Do not go to ANY chain dentists.

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM!! I'm starting to think the 5 stars reviews (the little ones there) are fake! I went to this place for the first time today and exactly what everyone else said in their reviews happened to me!! They immediately rushed to take several X-rays then sent to a chair to take MORE X-rays! Then I went back to the room and yet again I had to take MORE freaking X-rays!! I'm not even lying.. then the "hygienist" came in for about 5min telling me all these different procedures that I needed.. Root canal, gum surgery, etc.. I came in for ONE reason which was closing a gap.. the hygienist had a VERY SERIOUS attitude problem, she kept cutting me off when I tried to ask anything! Then they tried to escort me to the front to discuss payment for all of these unwanted procedures I literally walked out!! I've never felt so SCAMMED in my life!! Please stay away from this place and go to your own dentist!!! Not these CROOKS.. ***don't send me your COPY/PASTE template response...It's BS*****

they tell you that you will go home with teeth same day what they don't tell is that's if they measured your teeth correctly and if not you must make an appointment which is next available they don't put you in a slot directly after so you may go weeks without teeth the Dr is out or appointments booked up

I have been coming to Aspen Dental for 2 1/2 years. I went to a private dentist before that I’ve never been treated so great and had such excellent service all the doctors and nurses and hygienist are wonderful. I had to get five grand worth of mouth work done all my original teeth and 51 and they did three root canals within 2 1/2 hours where my doctor did one root canal and it took him three days. I’d say your people are more well qualified and you did have care credit which helped me. I only owe 1000 so I’m doing great with Aspen Dental these are ridiculous claims and people that write dumb review should be ashamed of themselves. I tell everybody about my visits and how everybody there knows me because I came in so many times to get my mouth taken care of within two months they did all that work within two months they are awesome and I wouldn’t go to another dentist thank you

I went to them a few years ago to have a tooth pulled.
The dentist bedside manner was a lot to be desired. WHEN I TOLD HIM I COULD STILL FEEL THE DRILLING HE GOES " THATS NOT PAIN THAT IS PRESSURE! YOU'VE HAD TEETH PULLED BEFORE! ALL THE OTHER DENTIST I HAVE GONE TO JUST GAVE ME A SHOT OF MORE NOVACAINE. Needless to say I was shaking & upset when I left the office. Also they advertise that they work with you. They did not!! Also when I came across the bill years later I realized they had charged me for pulling 2 teeth instead of 1. All in all it was a very traumatic experience one that I had never experienced going to a dentist, and I would not recommend them to anyone!!!

Based on my experience I say this company feels like no other dentist office I've ever been to and I've lived in 7 States. A website with a lot of nothing on it. Then when you arrive at the office there's a rush to get the X-rays done then a move to the chair. The doctor spent less than 5 minutes in the room and 3 minutes looking at my teeth to review what 'type of cleaning' I would need. HMMM, there's nothing on the website that states different types of cleanings or the pricing for those 'different' ranges of cleanings...just one price. HMMM. The Dr. never asked if I had concerns, she seemed flippant that my teeth were in good shape and needed nothing! She rushed out so fast that she didn't even tell me good bye, so long, or what the cleaning type I'd need. The assistant told me I needed a basic cleaning. No kidding. That's why I got the bums rush. I'm not going to be a money maker. You know there's an issue when the employees don't use the office for their own dental needs. No one needs to have a dentist waste their time by not telling the patient that two appointments are needed to 1) get X-rays and 2) get the teeth cleaned. Wow, NY you've failed your dental patients. Re-read the other reviews and if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck...well...based on this I'll not return.

I gotta say, I don't understand all the major negativity from some folks. I have been a patient at this facility for 2 or 3 years and my experience is always great. I am always warmly greeted whenever I enter, my wait time is always reasonable, and I have never been exposed to upselling of exorbitant fees. I absolutely love the entire staff, and I wouldn't want any other dentist than Dr. Kim. She is direct, caring and so competent. The ultimate professional. I'm editing this review to add something important. My original review included a complaint, which was addressed immediately by Aspen's customer service team. A most pleasant and efficient lady named Michelle handled my issue immediately and flawlessly. What more could I ask for? Thank you, Michelle!

I had a root canal procedure yesterday that required extensive gum cleaning as well. Let me tell you Dr Kim excelled once again. Painless and they put a temporary crown on until the permanent one is ready. Emone at the front desk is so friendly and outgoing. Sets the positive tone for the entire visit every time. After the novacaine wore off I notice that my bite was a bit off due to the tooth was now a bit taller than before. I called Emone asking to be seen for an adjustment. She looked at the schedule and said " can you be here now" I said would be impossible as I was still home right NOW. After some laughter she said 20 minutes. I agreed was there in 10 was taken back immediately, and was done within 15 minutes. I just love this place. FYI there is a great bakery right behind their building with fantastic pies and bread. A win win

Yesterday the last day that they would be open before Christmas I was with a true dilemma. I needed my two front teeth so I wouldn’t travel to see my daughter toothless. The dentist and his whole team worked all day to fit me in with a replacement denture that would not hurt and look nice. And I have to say they did it all. I can’t thank them enough.

First of all, I think that Yelp should allow reviewers to offer zero stars for service falling well below low expectations. I wasn't sure what to expect, but my first appointment was a consult, which involved taking more than a dozen X-rays of my mouth, followed by recommending that I have a root canal, enhanced gum cleaning, and a retainer to straighten my teeth. All I really wanted was a basic cleaning, which was not offered. After X-rays and a consult by the dentist, I was led to the front where I was met with a billing specialist to go over all the recommended options, which totaled in the thousands. By the way, I have really good dental insurance and my teeth are in pretty good shape, so the idea that I would need to pay that much more was appalling. Never in all my years had I felt like it was being conned into purchasing something that I don't need until now. I was speechless. I ended up saying no, with the exception of the enhanced cleaning, which was highly recommended. It cost significantly more than any dental procedure I ever had and I had to provide payment upfront for a future appointment. When I arrived for my enhanced cleaning appointment, I was met by a dental hygienist who was really nice. Right before the procedure, she informed me that only half of my mouth (the left side) was covered by my insurance and that I would need to schedule another appointment for the right side. Once again I was speechless. I had to schedule another appointment for the right side? Again, never had I heard of such of thing and I was never informed, which didn't seem to surprise her. She finished the cleaning (in 15 min) which by the way, was essentially a normal cleaning but with water? I was dumbfounded. Following the procedure, I canceled the next appointment for (wait for it) the right side of my mouth. I will never go to an Aspen Dental ever again and certainly never recommend them. I do feel like it's a scam and their practices predatory.
