“I was referred by a friend to Freewheelers for a tune-up on my Giant Bicycle. From the moment I walked in, Owner Roger Levy impressed me as genuine, personable, and old school. We had a heartfelt conversation regarding a common personal matter that involved our families. I felt comfortable leaving my bike, and it was finished ahead of schedule and serviced nicely!
A week later, I received a hand written note in the mail from Mr. Levy. It was encouraging in nature, and pertained to our previous personal discussion. “It’s a free service. What more can I say. Much appreciated. Guy in the beard played 21 questioned where I got my son’s high end bike (I don’t steal other people’s property). I can understand the questions coming from the nature of the surrounding neighborhood. One dude that came in was literally complaining about the free service he was getting and being rude. I give the volunteers a lot of credit for what they do.
