Clerks there have zero knowledge of anything they sell. I was looking for a specific Portugal dry red. He looks something up in his system then takes me over to the wall and explains all those are Portugal reds. Then he grabs a bottle and says “this one is great”. So I decide to try it. It wasn’t until I got home that I noticed it wasn’t a dry red from Portugal. It was a port… from Australia. What? I’ve stopped in a few times but that will be my last. Clearly they only care about selling as much as they can, considering I was straight up lied to. Beware if you decide to shop there.

Finding our way around our new town and came upon Chateau Wine & Spirits. It didn’t look like much from the road but step through the door and it transforms into a super store. The selection of wines and spirits is large and the prices are very competitive. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and will help you carry your purchases to your car, which I definitely appreciate. Easy 5 star experience!
