What a horrible place of business. We used the “sell us your car” tool on the website and got an offer with a name and number some Moron named Steve Berardi so we went in with our car and explained we had to sell the car due to a death. This guy showed absolutely no compassion whatsoever and basically mocked us and the car we brought in. On top of that he got caught lying saying that we did the online tool wrong and didn’t use the vin and it wasn’t him etc. I continued to do the offer tool right in the store and showed him and he continued to just spew excuses. He ended up low balling us saying the car needs tires and brakes and would be $3-4k. The most idiotic thing I have ever heard. I went down the road and got the offer these clowns offered in the first place. Bait and switch at its finest. I will never buy, sell or recommend this place for anything.

Communication was not good. Had to bring vehicle three different times in order to get an inspection. First time poor communication between cortese and ziebart so vehicle just sat there all day without anyone contacting me. Second time dropped vehicle off and they had it all day. However, cortese’s “system” was down so they didn’t do anything. No attempt to contact me and tell me they would not be able to inspect. Then when I went to pick it up they said I was all set and when I got into my vehicle saw it did not have updated inspection. So when I went back in and asked they looked at me like I was dumb and said no we didn’t inspect it our system has been down. They then said they would contact me when the system was back so I could come back. Waited a week without any contact so I called and of course went to voice mail since no one actually answers the phones there. Finally after a day or so got a call and was able to bring it in a third time and get an inspection done.

Both the Service and Collision departments treated my old Jeep with respect and care. They called and checked with their upfront pricing before any work was done, and got my vehicle up and running again in a very short time. I will be using Cortese for all my automotive needs from now on. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

Rob Balon the service manager and Jovi I believe his name is including the repair tech provided excellent service communication and compassion with great problem solving skills. Cortese is now my dealer for my dodge charger. Thank you and God Bless

The ABS warning light came on my dashboard and brakes were acting funny. Was able to cautiously drive to Cortese and pull my car into the bay. At first, we thought it was just a problem with the ABS light and I made an appointment to bring my car in the following week. When I started to leave, the brakes acted up again and I stopped the car in the rear lot. Rob drove my car back in and then knew something was definitely wrong so he put the paperwork in to be serviced. It was in the afternoon, so I didn't think I would hear anything about my car for this day. Rob called me a few hours later and told me it was a bad wheel bearing and they have to order a part from another vendor. They were able to get the part the next day and repair my car so I could pick it up and drive home. Thanks for fitting me in and doing a great job to keep my car (and me) safe. Yes, I will be a repeat customer the next time my car presents a problem! Thanks again, well done.

Jay was amazing to work with! Not only was he a salesman but also a finance manager with made the whole experience that much better. You get to deal with one fantastic person!! Will for sure be my go to contact for any vehicles family or I are Interested in.

Went there for years. Their loaner* policy was, to put it politely, inconsistent. With a lot full of second-hand vehicles clearly visible out back. Once, when they'd had my jeep for several days, after I yelled over the phone, I was granted a loaner. Why should one have to yell? In 2020, using the COVID pretext, they discontinued their shuttle service. So now they expect you to sit in the waiting room all day? Or have someone on their way to work ferry you to Cortese, then back home...and still get to work on time? Of course there's always Uber. (Unless you don't have a smartphone. Or don't mind being accosted by one of Uber's dubious hirelings.)*By "loaner" I mean substitute transportation provided gratis while they repair your vehicle. Of course they'll rent you something.

My experience with the service department was awesome I have no problem with my service,it was so easy to make the appointment the service team jump right in and solved my issues kept me abreast of everything . Jay made leasing our ‘23 Grand Cherokee L simple and easy. The dealership had a great selection of Jeeps as well. Bringing the vehicle in for our first service appointment was hassle free. They offered me a comparable vehicle while working on the vehicle. The work was completed that same day. The dealership staff were courteous, thoughtful and professional. They're very friendly and nice. They tell you what is needed and if it's all necessary right now or if it can wait until the next appointment. If it's going to take awhile they'll give you a loaner until your car is ready. That is the best part. I had to go to work but they didn't know that they just told me that it would take awhile for my car to be repaired and offered me a loaner which I was glad for to get to work.

Cortese really took care of me with a transmission issue that was under warranty with my Jeep Wrangler Sport. Rob and his crew expertly managed everything in a timely manner. I even had a new Jeep Wrangler to drive as a loaner while we had to wait for parts and approvals from Chrysler. I was in a bind with travel plans and was praying that everything could be resolved before I had to leave on my trip. Thankfully, it was. Thanks for making everything come together.

Very pleased with the Cortese dealership Rochester,NY customer service representative Derek Bridges. He was very professional and knowledgeable making my first new vehicle purchase very easy. Had everything ready when I traveled to the dealership for pick up.
