This 7 Chapel street, Rochester NY Cube Smart is incredibly clean, has great security monitoring, and is easy to do business with from start to finish. The staff are wonderful; very thorough and helpful, and so nice! This is my first time ever using a storage facility and I am beyond happy with how well my experience went!!

Friendly and helpful staff. The facility was always clean. I was always able to access my unit when I needed to. This place is the most affordable in the area.

The people who work at the actual facility are all nice and helpful, and the facility itself is very nice except for the mouse/rat infestation problem. However the company's "dynamic pricing" policy is a total bait-and-switch scheme. Rent went from $197 in May to $254 in November (same year, a 29% increase) to $327 in June (a 66% increase from the year before). Unless you are in NYC, where these self-storage rent hikes are unlawful, you'd be much better off with a local owner-operated company instead of a large real estate investment trust such a CubeSmart. Moving can be expensive and / or inconvenient (middle of the winter, or when you are not around), so be careful where you store your stuff.

Michelle from CubeSmart in Rochester is fantastic! I'm from California and had to make arrangements for my daughter's college things to be put in storage and she was extremely helpful and lowered my level of anxiety of getting it all taken care of from thousands of miles away. And then when we went to the facility, she was once again amazing! She made sure we had everything we needed and we were able to fly back to California knowing my daughter's things were safe and well taken care of. Thank you Melissa!!!
