I love CVS and the many items they offer. As a senor citizen living on a limited income, I am grateful for sale items and the Extra care coupons that they offer to customers.

I reviewed my latest purchase and they asked if I'd like to give a Google review. OK, here's my likes and suggestions:
WHAT I REALLY LIKE: Since I signed up for CVS Extra Care card (and they fixed the app) I really like shopping there. For a small monthly fee (I pay annually to save even more) I save waaay more than pay, and I DON'T have regular prescriptions!
I shop once a month after first going through the app to add every conceivable savings to my card/account, and I've often saved up to 50%, sometimes even more. WIN!
OUTSIDE/LOCATION: Easy to find, parking is easy and plentiful, the location convenient, and they have good hours. The parking lot needs work (potholes, painting fresh lines), and in good weather they need staff to keep it clean outside. The drive-through is easy, although and the bushes along that side need serious attention, like pruning what's left and topping the bushes (contact the landlord). Cleaning the door & window glass more often would also improve attractiveness.
THE STORE: The people are nice, friendly and helpful. The selection is pretty good at my store, and the stock is not dusty. If I need a price check they have an easily-found machine you can use to scan for it.
WORK CONDITIONS: They seem short staffed on the floor, and don't know why. Maybe they don't treat them like Wegmans, which is actually not too much to strive for. Happy employees make for happy customers. If they have problems finding good workers, the should hire though a temp agency. Easier that way.
ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT: The bathroom. I'm glad they have one, but don't staff use it, too? Cleanliness seems to be a LOW priority - not a good look for a PHARMACY. This isn't an area with bums hanging around, so what's the excuse? I'm not asking them to compete with Wegman's bathrooms, but they could at least CARE. They should hire someone to JUST come in everyday and keep it sparking and stocked, or SOMETHING! And it's winter now and it's COLD in there! In fact, it's ALWAYS uncomfortable. Maybe it's intentional (some people might hog it for all the wrong reasons), but a controllable timer on the light (even by staff from the outside) could help with that.
All in all, I'll still keep going there for the savings, but a little investment in their people and outside appearances could improve profitability, because many people would rather pay more and go to Wegmans down the road where it feels like ownership cares.

Bad experience at the CVS on Spencerport Road. A employee was very rude to me and when I spoke to the manager about it, he suggested if you work for a delivery service you’re responsible for finding your own products, it’s store policy. One of the products I needed was locked up, and when I asked the employee for support with finding diabetic socks, they snapped at me and did a big sigh

Went to the pharmacy to pick up my husband Ken's medications. Moe brought the medication to the counter and then said come over here so I did. I stood at that window for at least 5 minutes probably longer while he proceeded to put together other bags of prescriptions. I finally asked "Does this all have to do with me"? His response was, "You do realize there are other people ahead of you." What???? Mind you this was all prior to him ringing me up and realizing there was a problem with my husband's insurance. Who does that? You wait in line and you go to the counter when it's your turn. Simple right? The person picks up your medications and you pay for them and if there's a problem then hopefully the person behind the counter is at least kind enough to be polite. Well I did have a issue. I explained my husband was here earlier this week and was told there was a problem so he contacted Excellus who stated when we go in again to bring the documentation we had and a telephone number for them to call just in case it wasn't resolved. Moe said, "I don't have time to call" in a real rude manner but then said he could do it later. Completely understandable so I called because my husband needed his meds and we needed to get this straightened out. I called Excellus and each time I had a question I patiently got in line and waited until it was my turn to speak with Moe and Excellus. While dealing with this which was very stressful since my husband does have medications that he will need. Moe was not helpful and rude. At one point the woman from Excellus even told him not once but a few times that he didn't need to be rude as she's asking pertinent prescription information. His response was, "I'm not rude." When everything was as resolved as it was going to be for the evening, Moe was on the "platform" took the meds put them in a bin and told me to get into line. I had already been in line minimum of 3 times I believe it was 4 times. I said, "Moe please can you help me I've been here now close to probably 1 1/2 hours, please." He laughed and ignored me. I asked again, Please Moe, I've waited in line at least three times already. He finally did come to the window and tried to scold me on how he knew how long it would take. I said, Moe I'm not blaming you for how long it took. When I first got here you got my meds, asked me to go to another window and proceeded to work on other prescriptions and make me wait prior to realizing there was an issue. I will have to say the other workers were VERY polite and courteous. I understand it's busy, that's why I took it upon myself to make the phone call. I understand that accuracy is vital in that line of work. I understand helping me was probably the last thing he wanted to do but he was rude, mocking and laughed at me. I'm writing because I truly believe I can't be the only one who's experienced his inconsiderate, rude, mocking, condescending and UNPROFESSIONAL mannerism.
NEVER EVER have I ever experienced this at CVS--NEVER!

They keep refilling meds without permission, then get upset if you don't pick it up right away. Don't try to speak to a pharmacist over the phone. You'll be on hold for 20 min every time. Don't you dare ask why they charge $10 for the same 90 day supply Wegmans charges $0 for. Then just tonight they called twice to say it was ready, and when my husband showed up and they claim they called to say it's out of stock. Incompetent does not even begin to cover it.

It's so annoying not to be able to speak with the pharmacy tech at the drive-through window face to face! I've never had an issue with this at another CVS.

I save so much money here! I get 30% coupons all the time! I swear, I'm one of the best customers ? And some of the CVS brand products are better quality than the big name brands.

Hilariously bad customer service. Every employee I spoke to started the conversation with an eye roll, and a big sigh. Either that, or they just straight up tried to ignore me. Normally it's 1 or 2 bad eggs but everyone that works at this location, the pharmacy especially will go out of there way to act like you don't exist. This most recent bad experience was on 4/3/2024. I won't be visiting CVS anymore.

Will be switching pharmacies. Called in my Rx on Thursday of last week and it was never filled. When I came into the store to manually refill it I was told to come back in about 15 min and it would be ready. Came back and was told “someone” switch the pickup time to 1pm and it’s still not ready. Just pure incompetence at this location it seems.

This is by far the most horrific pharmacy I have ever been to. The staff is incompetent, impatient and just flat out rude. I understand they are short staffed and under stress which is why I've been patient with their unprofessional customer service but it has become way too consistent and each time I need to refill a prescription it has become worse and worse. This evenings visit was the final straw. I will not be using CVS anymore to refill prescriptions.
