The Rochester DMV Office provides a quick and easy experience with professional, friendly, and helpful staff. Customers report being in and out, often within an hour or even under twenty minutes, when they have an appointment. As of June 18, 2020, this downtown location is open to appointments only, with no walk-ins allowed, which is highly recommended to avoid long lines. The office and Security Administration are located on the second floor. Parking is pay, but the efficient service is worth it.

Probably the fastest DMV I have ever been to. I would say I was in and out within a half hour. I was there a little after opening around 9am or so. There was a line and people in the chairs waiting for their number to be called. But like I said they were fast and efficient. I was amazed and very satisfied with their services.

Having been serviced by DMVs in TN, LA, and TX, I was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency of Rochester’s downtown DMV. Ron was polite and excellent at triaging, and Brittany was personable and quick. 10/10.

Pretty empty here today. People without appointments are actually getting through.
