The worst experience I've ever had at a dmv. I was told to leave because I needed paperwork from the police. Paperwork that the police does not give you, your insurance does. But dont worry they still told me I was wrong repeatedly and did not fix the paperwork they needed to. As well my address is mismatched the printed address on my ID is not what is in the system, and even tho I've filled out paperwork to correct it my address is still one that I havent lived at for years. I'm going on 4 years of not being able to vote or fill out any dmv paperwork due to this mistake in THEIR system.

The service seemed faster than at the old location. Great job! I'd recommend it to anyone with DMV needs. Not like there's any other options when you have to go to the DMV though...

New office at tops plaza definitely surpasses the old place on Henrietta.

Worst DMV I've ever been to. 10 total stations, 3 people working. Over an hour just to surrender license plates. State government at it finest...

Went through multiple staff members who told me there is nothing they can do to help me, and even said I was "screwed over" by the car dealership. Michelle was able to completely resolve the issue I was experiencing within five minutes. Thank you Michelle for taking the time to actually listen - the Henrietta DMV is so lucky to have you!

Security guard is angry and rude for no reason. I smiled and said "hello" and he just glared and answered questions with an aggressive attitude. The world is stressful enough without jerks on power trips. He needs to be disciplined & taught basic customer service skills.

Why is when you make an appointment and your a few minutes early you have to wait outside ? It's ridiculous . There number system is crazy tellers look over worked but the waiting outside thing gotta go . There is plenty of room inside to sit and wait, I hope we don't have to do that in the winter . Seems crazy to me you should not have to wait outside . People who have standing problems should be offered a place to sit and still keep place in line . :)

Amazing .. the DMV has started to make transactions paperless and streamlined. I renewed two registrations for commercial vehicles and it was so smooth and fast. Good job !

I’ve been here twice. The staff were pleasant, professional, and helpful. Including the security guard who helped me navigate through. A much nicer experience than NYC!

The people at the desk are awesome but unfortunately I had to give it two stars due to the constant rudeness of the older security guard. I’ve been to the DMV three times in the past month for various reasons and every time he has a chip on his shoulder. The first time I went was the first time since they’ve relocated and I had an appointment. I did not realize you had to check in with security first even with an appointment since there’s no signs indicating that. After waiting a couple minutes in line he loudly called me over to his desk just to check our name off the list and let us step back in line, mind you at that point I’d lost three places in line. The second time, I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment not recalling from the reminder email you cannot arrive more than 5 minutes early. Even though there was no one in either the appointment line or walk-in line he made me go back outside to wait until my appointment time. Mind you, I’m 7 months pregnant and it’s July. The third time, he suggested we get a ticket instead of needing to wait in the appointment line. I was told to mention upon arrival my title was in the drawer there. So I mentioned it to him in case I had to go to the first desk to get the title since I was not sure where the “drawer” was, he snapped at me “If I needed to know that, I would’ve asked, you can tell them when you get to the window”. Luckily the people at the counter are much nicer but this guy could seriously use some customer service skills.
