Honestly, THIS LOCATION def NEEDS to be SHUT DOWN for far too many infractions that I personally witnessed upon my third visit whenever in area. The so-called staff there Monday evening, 1/21/25 around 430pm are totally worthless + highly unprofessional. Upon entering, I noticed two (male/female) were "chit-chatting" and horsin' around with each other plus USING PROFANITY.
I was there approximately ten mins looking for cat food, I noticed the aisles AND shelves were grossly DISORGANIZED (as usual). So, WHY do these folks simply "stand around" rather than tco ALL the mess? When I was unable to locate the item, I made an inquiry & the guy (jki with White woman) said with much attitude: "I don't think we have any." It was quite apparent he DIDN'T wish to be bothered. Upon subsequent check out, I went to where the light was on at 1st register indicating "open." Yet NO one was there. The SAME ones, a very heavy set White woman, and the same Black guy I asked about cat food were STILL standing around chit-chatting. Finally, another guy came to cash me out. I ended up NOT PURCHASING ANYTHING. Leaving as a result of staff NOT meeting my needs. They blatantly REFUSED to take back some readers that I recently purchased at Henrietta two days prior upon discovering that they were damaged. My request to simply USE $1.50 CREDIT TOWARDS MY PURCHASE was NOT honored. Initially, the cashier summoned the white woman, I assume, to be Manager who DIDN'T even bother to come to assist. Instead, she yelled: "don't you know how to do it?!" She then asked me "do you have your receipt?" I advised yes, I just gave it to cashier." Her entire interaction was highly unprofessional as she was very nasty and rude. She continued yelling across from where she was. Saying: "NO REFUND or credit, unless you exchange it for the exact same thing." In the meantime, 6 other customers were lined up BEHIND ME. She nor the other guy that I spoke with previously, even bothered to make an effort to cash them out. I inquired as to her name, and she ignored me. I inquired again with the other Black guy cashing me out who had extremely chapped lips (names unknown), and he replied: "You have to ask her?!" That's WHEN I WALKED OUT. As a retiree, having worked 40+ years with a major Telecommunications company in Customer Service Training And Development, I wonder, is Dollartree hiring felons & addicts? It's OK, that is IF they ARE subsequently TRAINED PROPERLY in professionalism. Unlike what I experienced. As a result, I STRONGLY URGE EVERYONE TO GO ELSEWHERE, NO matter how long the drive! This IS definitely MY LAST vist!!

I give it.4. Stars and this is for all the dollar trees, according to how in their refrigerators they have identified the items that cost $3 $4. $5 dollars should also be charged on items in other parts of the store.

I enjoyed shopping at this store but I have to pay close attention to the new products and new prices. I can no longer assume that everything in the store cost $1.25.
