We had a great experience purchasing our son’s car. Everyone was competent and efficient. The process went smoothly and expediently. Would definitely recommend Bob Johnson Kia.

Bought a 2020 Kia forte from bob johnson vw . Kevin was my salesman. Excellent customer service skills , process was easy and fast. I would say 5 stars with the sales part, maybe a 4.5 star on the doll up. Over all will definitely recommend this dealer and sales team to anyone wanting to purchase a new or used vehicle.

Bob Johnson Kia worked with me with my trade as well as my purchase of a 2024 Telluride. Salesperson Chelsea was knowledgeable, professional and kind. She know Kia and provides amazing service.

Okay, here's a PSA for all my friends in the Rochester NY area..... Do not, under any circumstances, do any business with Bob Johnson Kia/Bob Johnson Auto Group. I had a 9:00 appointment this morning for some routine maintenance and for them to check a few faulty things. I was told it would take about 2 to 3 hours. Okay. Around 11:30 I was told that at noon EVERYONE goes on lunch and would be back at 1:00 and that my car would be ready around 2-2:30. I was surprised when I was offered a loaner (since the last time I had work done there I was told they don't offer that anymore). ?? So. I go home and wait. And wait. And wait. 3:00 I call over there to talk with someone in the Kia department. Had to leave a message. 4:15 comes around and I'm LIVID! I drive back to the dealership and ask wheee the f*** my car is! Clown says, "I said it would be ready by the end of the day". I called him a f****** liar right to his face! I just can't BELIEVE a business has that kind of inept, lying pieces of s*** working for them! So, to sum up..... F*** Bob JohnsonKia/Auto Group. Do yourselves a favor and avoid them like the plague they are.

I have gotten my last 3 cars at Bob Johnson's Kia. The service was excellent. The dealer just had me tell her what kind of car and she found it for me. I was able to text drive it and fell in love. The next day a went in the a down payment and signed my name . It was very easy and stress free.

It's hard to adequately express how frustrated I am by the service, or lack thereof, I have gotten recently at Dorschel (now Bob Johnson) Kia. But I'll try: Several weeks ago, the check engine light came on in my 2015 Kia Soul, which has around 79K miles and been regularly maintained. I took it to Dorschel and was told it was extremely low on oil as a result of the car's engine burning oil at an accelerated rate. I was told the engine likely would need to be replaced and that Kia would do it ... under certain oil-burning parameters that only make sense to Kia. I was instructed to continue driving the car and bring it to the dealership every 1,000 miles to have the rate of oil consumption checked. I did that twice and was scheduled to take it in for a third check mid-week. But yesterday, having driven fewer than 800 miles since the last oil check/add, the check oil light started flashing. The person who answered the service desk phone this morning advised me not to drive the car, so I'm stuck. I have now left five voicemail messages for the service person I have been dealing with since this fiasco began and the service manager and haven't heard a peep from either of them about how to proceed. Not even a "We're really busy, but we're going to contact you as soon as possible to talk about a solution" courtesy call. An appalling lack of response.

Had been a loyal customer, but last two times, service took much longer than expected. Last time they didn't even change the service minder gadget to reflect it was done. Now I tried to schedule a simple oil change. I called on May 17th and was told the first appointment available was August 11th!! Not waiting 3 months to change oil when I do a lot driving. There's been a lot of little things that have been minor things I would overlook, but after this, I am not taking the vehicle back there for any routine work. My local mechanic gets my $$. I'm not sure I'd even consider them for a future purchase.

Wow. In the worst possible way. Last July I had my oil changed and tires rotated by Dorcschel Kia. I bought my car at Carmax in Va, but am moving here and wanted to begin a relationship with Kia for my new car purchase next year. That was mistake #1. Carmax Va rocks and I should've just gone to Rochester Carmax. The 1 hour apt took nearly 3 hrs. No time for car wash (turns out that's nothing new with them after talking with people I know who bought Kia's and have to deal with their awful customer service.) I was also charged ten dollars more than the original quote, and this is after witnessing multiple furious customers from them doing work that was not approved by owner (cha-ching) that had the poor service agent trembling...I'm not kidding. He hands me over a systems check (fluids etc) that is illegible. I see dark boxes checked, he says everything is fine, printer doesn't print them right. What?? All these dark boxes are fine? Yup. Not very reassuring. At that point I wanted to get out of there. The following day after I started my car, a tool box icon was on my dash board bc the tech had not marked "service complete" in the car software. I had to call the service agent (who no longer works there, so surprise there) who Youtubed it and walked me through how to get the icon off my dash. Told him my front right bumper was cracked and a mysterious ding on my drivers side door. Apparently since I didn't see it happen I couldn't hold them liable. Really? Wow. Okay, it was perfect yesterday when I washed my car. Did Bambi give it a kick as it sat in my driveway that night? Fast forward. Still driving back and forth between NY and VA, I needed to have a VA State inspection as I hadn't made the move permanent yet. They tell me I'm missing a lug nut off of my right rear wheel, remember Kia did the tire rotation. Good to know. They put one on that is not Kia to get me driving safely. Called Kia, told service agent what happened. He told me to come in and would replace lug and the next oil change was on Kia. Ahem. At this point I'm eye rolling. My travel schedule for work has been intense, and I didn't have the time to get lug replaced (the non Kia lug is safe) Now last week, a light on dash tells me that service required in "x" miles. Call Carmax in VA to ask if there is a scheduled service other than oil changes. Nope. They tell me its bc the Kia mechanic didn't change the software for my oil change and the oil change indicator was still lit. Yeah, makes sense considering he never closed out my service. Call and left message for Brett on Tuesday afternoon. No call back. Following afternoon call and ask reception for help (a very nice woman) said she would take this higher up and a manager would be calling me. Nope. Called the third day in a row (this afternoon), same nice lady says answers and says this is "unacceptable" and she will find someone for me to talk to, then gives me voicemail of the first guy that she knew didn't call me back. Go to call her back instead of leaving another message for a guy who doesn't return messages, and the call gets disconnected AFTER the messaging system picked up. Some very nervous sounding woman answers, I ask her to give the first receptionist the message to get a message to a manager to call me back. If this makes no sense, I'm right there with you. Never in my life have I experienced such horrible customer service. I don't even blame the techs to be honest. They must be so over booked that they can't manage the work load, and Kia just inconvieniences the hell out of valuable clients and the techs are banging around trying to get their quotas met. So much so that our personal property is damaged bc Kia runs ripshod. Go to Carmax if you want a Kia!!!!

I just had a fantastic buying experience with Art. He worked with me from start to finish and never once tried to get me to buy more than I wanted or pressure me into upgrades or add ons. A+++!
