Had a 9am appointment. Waited until about 9:30am and the store still wasn’t open. About 5 of us were waiting. No signs in the window about problems/opening later. Called the store no answer, called a different location and they had no clue. Called in the afternoon and asked what time they opened for the day which they said 9am and that was a lie. Then when I called the girl out on it she said there were issues with the key. But no staff in sight. Only go to this location if you have no other plans for the day and want your time to be wasted.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE THE BEST VISIONWORKS LOCATION IN THE AREAI haven’t been to an eye doctor expect one time ar least 7 years ago. (the staff had no idea so there was no special treatment or anything)I had a wonderful experience. I came in a few days earlier to try to walk in but they couldn’t get me in and an AMAZING young lady took the time to sit with me and get all my annoying paperwork out of the way, found the soonest available appointment and everything.Great experience upon my appointment. Super nice staff, Funny, friendly, good conversation and great help.Doctor was knowledgeable and helpful and seriously took into account my concerns from having a prior brain injury.Could not recommend this specific location more.

I have been coming to this location for 6-8 years BUT not sure what happened to this place! All the young women who work there are super rude and very smug. The only friendly people was the optometrist and male assistant. They said they couldn’t find my son in the system even though we were just there 2 years ago. I used to be able to pick up our new frames within a day or two, it’s been over a week & no update from the app on status or get my call answered. I noticed they filled out our personal info wrong on the paperwork too!! We will never go back there! Terrible experience! Way to ruin a good company! I used to love this place 2 years ago.

They suck they guarantee you a date for your glasses, I went on that day the “lab” broke frames and they don’t have anymore of those . I will need to pick out new ones, so I do and they say they won’t adjust price difference between frames and I will have to waivuo to two weeks more for my glasses. I say I would like them overnighted because this is no fault of my own they refused and still have no glasses. Do not go here this company you can’t reach by phone at any location and they suck at customer service. Wouldn’t let me give no stars, but that’s my rating. FAILED

This place is a joke. I made an appointment online which was confirmed via text several times during the week. When I arrived I was informed that "there are no doctors here today." So I asked, well then why do I have an appointment if there's no doctor? Three faces stared back at me blankly. Apparently they do much of the eye exam online via telehealth but even that was not avail as their "machine" was broken. I cant tell you how fast I ran out of this place never to return!

I went to Vision works for the first time. When I picked up my go lasses they didn't seem right. The optician asked that I give it a few days. I did. Still blurry. I took the glasses to my opthalmologist who said it was the correct prescription. My Dr tweaked the prescription sent me back to Vision works within the 100 day trial period. The staff very quickly and kindly redid my glasses. All perfect. No extra charge. A great experience I will definitely go back.

This place has really gone down hill. Used to be a great place to get a good price on glasses. Here is my recent experience-Long time customer, went in to buy a replacement pair of sunglasses. Frames alone were priced at $250, cost of frames online was $100. Cost for RX lenses with good vision insurance was still almost $200! I decide to buy frames online and have them put lenses in Then it comes time to pick them up (never got a notification they were ready). Tried calling to confirm but 20mins pass and no one answers. Leave work early to get to the store, and they are closed during what should be thier open hours. Try calling again the next day. Again no answer,so I get rerouted to the main cust service center, which is also unable to reach them, and says they will have them call me back (which they never do) so I show up to the store which has 0 customers and 4 opticians standing around doing nothing. Who then struggle for 10-15mins to locate my glasses. Terrible experience from beginning to end

The staff at this business are some of the most unprofessional individuals I have every seen. Last time I checked part of selling eyeglasses is fitting them. When I picked up two pairs of glasses the associate seemed put out when ahe had to fit one pair. The second pair was a pair of prescription sunglasses. They were no where near dark enough and were sent back. When I picked them up, the associate broke them while fitting them. Stay away from this business. Moronic idiotic employees hired for diversity not expertise. Stay away.

PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE!After this experience, I can honestly say I won't be back. My eye exam was rushed and I asked about issues with one eye blurring and was dismissed and told "your prescription drastically changed in one eye so that will happen." Uh, OK but why did my vision drastically change in one eye though? I was told I did not need my eyes dilated and had to sign away the process stating that I refused it.Then it came time to pick out frames... My glasses were ordered and I received an email confirmation. Weeks went by with no update that they arrived. I got fed up and called and after someone FINALLY answered the phone, I was told they were ready to pick up. I went in to pick them up and they could not find them anywhere! I went from "they're ready to pick up" to "they must have gotten lost in the mail." So, they reordered them and had them shipped directly to my house. I asked for my written prescription in the meantime so I could order a cheap pair online what with the drastic change of prescription and all.My glasses finally arrived to my house and I've had them for about 2½ months now and I absolutely hate them. The wire ear pieces hurt and are super uncomfortable, and I'm highly allergic to the metal that's under the plastic covers which is causing my face to break out. I received an email only 5 days ago that I have 100 days to swap them out. I went in to do so today and was told I can't, the window has passed - I received them in the mail less than 90 days ago! I asked for them to be adjusted and I'm not sure what she did but I was never offered a mirror to see how they looked on my face afterwards. They did feel better when I left and now only an hour later are sliding down my nose again. Also, one of the plastic ear piece covers is no longer properly glued on and I asked if she could fix it and she told me I could glue it. She didn't have any glue.I've had glasses since I was 2 and boy do I miss the old Empire Vision and the staff that actually cared about their customers! The current business is run horrendously and the staff honestly just seems miserable. They are annoyed with you from the minute you walk in the door and they don't hide it with they way they speak to you. They are extremely curt and will even yell to you from across the store! What! Don't you dare ask any questions and cut into more of their time or it gets worse.

I will never return to the Greece location. The girl at the front desk with two different hair colors in jeans and a tshirt was not working. She was eating, on her phone and Extremely unprofessional. Forgot about me and my appointment, ignored me. The person doing my exam , not the doctor was wearing jeans and a sweatshirt. I didn't even know he worked there. He was apologetic about the front staff missing my appointment, and not surprised.

I came to Visionworks for a routine eye exam. The support staff an technicians were helpful and polite. The physician possesed poor bedside manner and had an unpleasant demeanor.Understanding the limits of my medical benefits through my employer's coverage, I was told I "shouldn't be seen by an optometrist" (vs an ophthalmologist). I can appreciate the need for a patient to receive care in the appropriate setting; however, shaming them for not understanding how to utilise their medical benefits isn't the route.I will not return to this location due to the treatment and care I received from their optometrist. "Dr T", bedside manner was brash and disrespectful. Understanding she was attempting to communicate important patient and consumer information, she was curt and all-around rude around patient education and schema. Her approach to providing patient care was poor and shame-based.

Called for an eye exam appointment with diabetic exam. Made appointment for 30 minutes after opening and showed up 10 minutes early to be told that they were about an hour behind and I could wait there or reschedule. Then told I’d have to reschedule for the diabetic appointment because the appointments were all telemedicine. I rescheduled, but ended up canceling and going elsewhere. Place felt unprofessional and disorganized.

If you're touting your 30+ years of providing eye care, it's probably ideal to leave out the part where you leave your patients feeling poorly about their decision proactively seek eye care. I can appreciate the need for a patient to receive care in the appropriate setting; however, shaming them for not understanding how to utilise their medical benefits isn't the route. While the support staff was helpful and friendly, their optometrist, "Dr T", bedside manner was brash and disrespectful. Specifically told them I need my glasses before vacation. They said no problem. Well I guess it’s a problem now. Store just keeps hanging up when you call. They have an automated phone attendant that practically needs your under size. Too much. How about…. What’s your order number? We belong to NYS Teamsters and I want Visionworks dropped from Davis Vision.
