I went to this branch to dispute a fraudulent transaction that took place in different state from an establishment I’ve never ate from and this guy at the ridgeway branch that works there did not want to help me get my money back. He wanted me to work it out myself with this establishment and get my own money back as if this place is interested in giving me back my money. He told me “it would be giving away free money” if the bank got involved with helping me because I should do it on my own. He also lied and said the transaction was pending and didn’t even want to fill out the dispute transaction form. Thank god for not agreeing with him because right after I left their bank, I called headquarters and the woman on the phone was so helpful and wonderful. She had filled out the dispute form for the unauthorized charge and she also informed me the transaction amount was charged to my count- not pending like I was told earlier. I did get a refund of my money back thanks to this woman and that’s all I wanted. I know to never come back to this branch again due to that experience.

What a piece of shit bank. I drove around town to multiple atms trying to deposit money, THATS ALL. Very standard. Bank should be capable of that. Every atm told me 'deposits unavailable at this time.' Boy I sure do love getting charged late fees on autopays, purely because my bank won't TAKE MY MONEY.....

I applied for a car loan and was told I needed 2 paychecks and the vin of my current vehicles. I went to this location and met with Betsy who was unhelpful and rude. She explained the vin of my vehicle was not needed even though the online chat and letter sent to my house said otherwise. Betsy then told me I need a receipt before I could get a loan. That is very backwards but ok. I was then told my 2 pay stubs were not enough because I get paid biweekly and one wasnt a full 2 weeks of pay. I showed her my employment contract agreement and yearly pay. I have no debt and a 700+ credit score. Getting a loan for $250 a month should be extremely easy when I have directly deposited $50,000+ for over a year. Not with ESL or Betsy! I have banked with this company for 26 years. Friends and family have had similar experiences lately with ESL also. Not only did a competitor give me an amazing rate. They did so instantly. ESL even gave me a hard time about withdrawing my money from my accounts. Asking me questions about my employment and job title just for a withdrawal. I will be closing my accounts and never looking back. The worst bank and experience I've witnessed. ESL corporate should be ashamed but I'm sure they won't care.

Was in speaking with Gabriella about a credit/debit card issue. She was extremely helpful and patient. took time to explain everything,and made sure I was properly taken care of and set up before leaving.

there okayonly had one small issue that was dealt with quickly and when I get rolled change from people I check it before depositing it and make sure its the exact amount in there. plus I change the roller and put name address on it so they know where it came from.plus any cash like $1 -5-10 -50 and 100 are check to make sure there not funny money

If I could give this organization 0 stars I would. This review has nothing to do with the lovely people at this branch. This is entirely on the call center, corporate and fraud department.I recently had $450 stollen from me overseas in 5 seperate transactions at 2am local time. I submitted a dispute form to have the charges given back. It has been almost 2 weeks and I have still to recieve my money. I have bounced payments because of them.Everytime I call in or use the chat, I am advised the process unapologetically takes up to 10 days. Then when I ask why this is the case, I am always asked what other questions I have. This is intentionally deflective as the rep has no interest in dealing with the issue.The same thing happened to my relatives less than a week prior and they went into a branch and the problem was fixed overnight. My problem? No you can wait 10 business days.Disgraceful

My fiance and I stopped in here because, well we are engaged so we need official joint accounts! My fiance has never had an ESL account, but I have been a member for over ten years. We signed in and were quickly taken into an office to discuss our needs. The employee set us up with a joint savings account that will actually earn us a dividend. My fiance even got his own private accounts too. Love ESL; they make everything easy and painless. I even had to use this location to get a new credit card because mine was stolen. They had my card off, a new one ordered, and my money back to me in like five days. So amazing!!!
