When I needed a reputable, trustworthy repair shop to work on my vintage cars, I knew exactly where to go because I have driven by Ferrel's Garage numerous times over the years and would repeatedly see beautiful classic cars in their parking lot, as well as hear the praises of their long time customers.
The first car I brought them had not ran in over 10 years and their expert team diagnosed ALL of the car's problems and had the car running like new upon its return.
Throughout the process they communicated often, explained everything in great detail and made sure that I understood the issues, my options and the pricing.
Their pricing was extremely fair and they made sure that I did not pay for any unnecessary repairs.
The entire staff was and is always friendly and helpful, and that is based on the fact that my family brings ALL of our cars there now.

I'm impressed with their excellent communication! While working on my cars, they texted me pictures and took the time to explain the repairs. They're thorough and honest without being pushy. Ferrel's Garage takes good care of their customers.

I’ve been bringing my car here ever since I moved from Boston in 2017. Anytime I need work done, this is the place I trust. Recently, I had some serious issues. Complete exhaust replacement and major brake problems. Honestly, I didn’t think I was going to make it into the shop with out a tow, it was that bad.
They were able to fix everything, and my car felt like new again. A few days later, I had another issue with one of the calipers due to a manufacturing defect. Clint didn’t just brush it off, and he took the time to ride with me, listen to my concerns, and empathized with the situation.
He did what he felt was right and replaced a brake hose all of the warranted brake components. He replaced even the ones that were replaced 2 years ago, On top of that, he even balanced my tires because during our test ride I mentioned a possible vibration from a different drivetrain component.
Needless to say, my car is riding smoother than ever, you’d never guess it has over 120,000 miles on it. Thanks again for being great and for always going the extra mile.

Horrible owner.
Was totally ripped off for the work they did.
I feel sorry for the mechanics that have to work for a guy who has a poor attitude and terrible customer service.
He keeps a plexiglass in front if him for a reason I guess.
Definitely can’t recommend this garage to anyone unless you enjoy getting ripped off and treated poorly. Zero stars if it was an option
Failed inspection and it passed no problem at all nearby shop. Had front end alignment done and car still pulls. Owner said it was tires, replaced tires and he said tires were bad. The only one bad is the owner.

I came Farrell's garage as I really didn't trust my current one. I have friends who come here and have had nothing but rave reviews. They told me exactly what was wrong with my car, how much it was going to cost me and fixed without any up sale. If you're looking for a garage in Rochester that you can trust, this is the place to go. Thank you to the team there and the wonderful service they did on my car.

The initial fix was fine- got back into my car and my center console and gear shift were altered so I took my car back the next day. I was told that they did not touch my center console (they fixed the emergency brakes, did all the back brakes and ball joints). I found this explanation alarming because all of my items in my center console (like in the closed part that is latched) had been thrown onto my passenger seat. Not sure how this happened if they did not work with my center console. I had very high hopes but finding all of my things in disarray and then being lied to about it felt suspicious and disheartening.

A good friend of mine uses this place exclusively for all his daily driver and collector car service needs. There are not many places that will do work on old collector cars, but this place is eager to do so. The quality of their work is impressive.

I went here to get my NYS inspection done because it's a little closer to home than my normal guy and figured they'd be fine for just a quick inspection. Ferrel's told me my car barely passed inspection. My gut told me it was fishy so I took my car to my normal shop instead and showed them the report... They told me nothing was wrong with my car at all... Needs a few new tires but not for months. So the thousand dollars Ferrel's quoted me in work was.... Not actually needed. Wouldn't go back....
