I have been a customer at this location for almost 40 years. I have been very happy with the services and with the representatives until today. my tire light went on and I asked if they would check the tires. In the past a mechanic would and I would be on my way in less than 5 minutes. Yesterday I stopped by to get things checked at about 8a.m. The man at the desk was rude and condescending He told me to come back at 10. I did. He then told me to come back later. I did. He then todl me to come back the next day. I did at 7:30.a.m. He then told me to come back after 8. I did. He was nasty, rude and condescending and unpleasant all over a 5 minute tire check. Had it not been for the years of excellent service I would never go back. This person needs to learn some manners from Larry, the former manager.

Would not recommend going here. Had my tires swapped and rotated. Broke off my anti theft lug nut. Never replaced it left my car with 4 on each side. Decided to come back there again. Failed my inspection saying my brake pads are broken off. Just to sell me useless things like brake fluid flushings and to change brakes that have more tha. 70% on the pads still. Took the car to a shop to get this issue fixed and was told my brakes are all fine. Scheduled an inspection at the volkswagen dealership the next day to get this sorted.
Update: took the car to volkswagen dealership and passed the car with no issues.
Firestone is ran poorly and will fail your car inspection in attempts to sell you car maintenance you don't need. Contacted filed a complaint with their website and waiting to hear back now. Lastly when asked to provide proof of the issue my car had they weren't able to do it and refused to do a refund.

If I could give a 0 stars I would. This location has no concept of customer service and respect for other's time. I stopped in at 11:30 and was told I could get my car in at 1pm for a tire repair. I told the woman at the counter that I lived around the corner and less than 5 minutes away and so rather than sit in their lobby for an hour and a half I would rather go home and come back at 1pm. She said that would be fine and to call at just before to make sure I was able to drive over and get right in. Upon calling at 12:50 I was told I would now have to wait 1.5 - 2 hours as my car was not available. I then stated that I could be in their lot at 1pm as that is when my appt was for and was then informed they were a very busy location and some other BS that had nothing to do with the fact that making the appt. at 11:30 was really just a waste of time. DON'T GO HERE!

The customer service at the East Ridge location specifically was unpleasant and unwelcoming in my opinion when compared to other Firestone location's I've patronized. It put me off, so ultimately, I wasn't comfortable getting work done here, and it'll likely be the first and last time I go to that specific location.

I do not recommend this place at all , the service was terrible , I dropped my vehicle off on Thursday before work and caught the bus to work and when I got off work my vehicle was not ready , I was told the tires I was sold they did not want to give me then they ordered me tires I did not ask for, they did not even ask me what I wanted they just ordered some tires and did not honor the tires that I was told I would get for that price and they never called me on Thursday to let me know there was a problem I had to call at 6 pm on Thursday when I got off work and that's when they told me that my car was not complete instead of just telling me that they did not have the tires and when I dropped my car off on Fri , no one explained to me anything and I feel. I should have been able to get the tires that I was sold at first and when my vehicle was done on Fri , no one ever called me to tell me it was done i went and I paid ten dollars to see what was wrong with my vehicle and not one of them came to assist with telling me what I might need just gave me a piece of paper , i believe that they were very unprofessional with me and they owe me the tires that they said that I can get at first it was very unorganized horrible experience

The wait was long even though I had an appointment. Customer service was just ok. The job was completed and so far so good.

I dropped my car off 1st thing in the morning, call at 330 they say it’s with a tech now. Call back at 445 because I knew they were closing at 5. Told that they didn’t get to it and they will in the morning. Nope people have work and school to get to and you had it a whole day then lied on top of it! I definitely will be going elsewhere and never to this location again! No issues with Greece location.

I always get great service when I bring my car to Firestone Irondequoit and the personnel there are always friendly and helpful. They are worthy of your business and will do anything they can to resolve your vehicle issue(s).

Made an inspection appointment. Then came in and told it might take two hours? I made an appointment for this reason. They blamed it on an employee who was fired for bad scheduling. Is that any of my concern? The VERY LEAST they could have done is have the courtesy to call me and say they could not honor the time. This place used to be fine. Has gone down hill. Time to look elsewhere.
