“Well it's that time of year again, your mailbox is overloaded, and your phone is ringing off the wall. The Health Insurance, Medicare race is on. And it sometimes becomes over whelming. And then the point in time when you automatically go on Medicare. And it can become quite confusing to the average person. I've been at this point now a few years (On Medicare) and was pleased with coverage with Medicare Excellus. However last year I met a Licensed Medicare Agent by the name of Ellen Ortega. She works at Maust and Leone here in Rochester. I sat down with Miss Ortega a few times and she reviewed my Medicare coverage and pointed out some additional coverage I was entitled to. She looked at dental, hearing and vision, and got me some additional coverage. This was a great help to me. Meeting Miss Ortega was a great benefit to me. She is highly skilled and trained in this field. She knows the medical insurance business inside and out. Anyone who is approaching the Medicare age I strongly advise you to review your policy and if you feel you're not getting the best coverage call Miss Ortega. It was a great benefit for me.”

“Yesterday, I had to run to the grocery store to pick up a pulse oximeter because a few memebrs of my family tested positive for COVID earlier this week. I did an online order but the grocery store app was denying my HSA card as a form of payment, so I wondered if the oximeter wasn't eligible (even though I could have sworn it was). To check, I opened my BRI mobile app and went to the OTC search section which is linked to the FSA Store. It pulled the website right up and let me know that oximeters are definitely eligible! For some reason I still couldn't pay with my card, but I think that's on the merchant side of things and not about the item itself or my card. All in all, I am grateful for the fast, easy app that lets me search eligible items in under a minute and give timely care to my family. Thank you, BRI!!”
