I filed my taxes in March 2022, it is now August 2022. I try to find out where my refund is, and can't get any information online despite trying multiple times over the last few months. I call this office (or any office) and choose the menu item regarding refunds - exactly the same result as going online. I try to make an appointment to talk to somebody about this and I am on hold for half an hour. However, I finally talk with a very nice lady who actually tries to help, but says there is no information regarding my account and I should check again in 16 weeks. 16 WEEKS!!! This sort of response could only be acceptable in a government agency (or a bank). Kent Lyons

I filed in February & have not received my refund. The online service is totally automated & when I finish providing the information asked for the responce is no information is available.. I've phoned all three numbers I've found reach only a recorded voice, am asked the same questions & the recorded voice tells me there is no information about my refund. Is it being processed? Has my form been received? Has a refund been sent and been lost in the mail? I've tried all three numbers. I've tried to make an appointment- the recorded voice tells me that due to volume of calls I need to call back another day. I stopped by the local office last Wednesday - even though their site indicates the office was open, a sign on the door stated the office was closed. I've been trying to get information for 3 weeks now. I just want to talk to a person & have confirmation that my return was received & is being processed, or if not received if I should resubmit.

Have still not received my 2020 return. Had tried several times a few months ago to get information About my return status online. When I would go online, it told me I need to take action and gave me a phone number and extension to call. When I called, they told me I need to go online. ? seriously?? I then called again and the representative took A little more action and told me I should be receiving a letter in the mail within 30 days telling me approximately when I should see my return. It’s been two months and still no letter. Recently I’ve tried calling again to try and speak to a representative, now when I call it will not allow me to speak To a human being. And when I go online it literally says in red letters not to call about returns that have not been received and they are sorry for the delay. Really????? So basically I’m not allowed to know where my money is?? If it was the other way around, and I owed the IRS, I’m POSITIVE they would charge me penalties and would demand their money on time. What an awful system.

IRS is a joke!! They take your money every pay period,You file your taxes after the end of the year in hopes that you'll receive some of it back. After filing, you either receive a refund or you owe more money. When you owe there's a limited time to pay them, when they owe you they take their time to pay you. It's been 3 months and I still haven't received my refund.

This local IRS IRS SERVICE location is totally unavailable & NEVER accessible to obtain tax information services, since COVID-19.It's a shame that as a tax payer; you're not able to get customer service or any tax advice.

Excellent and fast service!!! I showed up for my appointment 4 hours early and they got me in and out in 5 min, it literally took me more time to get through security and that only took me 10 minutes!!! Best fedral building I have ever visited!!!

Every time I come to this facility it is very unorganized! Printer broke, low staff, very slow, no one at the front desk. The only decent help is security officer because they are very friendly
