The Henrietta salon is horrible. No manager on site. Stylists have to do everyone's job taking away from clientele service. Mopping & cleaning done while customers are getting service.Services: Shampoo & conditioning

This is a terrible salon. Highly unprofessional. I had the worst experience with Tatiana Berenbaum. The moment I walked into my appointment which was booked weeks in advance she asked me if I only have a hair cut and color after saying yes she told me that she is really busy and told me to go to ANOTHER SALON. She refused to provide the services in my appointment and kicked me out of the salon. Do NOT book an appointment with Tatiana Berenbaum as she will repeatedly tell you to go to another salon.

Note that this place supposedly still takes walk-ins during Covid, HOWEVER - Google says they're open until 8pm - they aren't. The receptionist also doesn't seem to know when they close. First she said 6pm, then she said 7pm, but if they don't get anyone waiting at 6pm they close. Since it was only 5:52pm I asked if I could get in to see the stylist. She said she had already closed down the terminal, and to come back next week! It seems this salon doesn't really want business.

I needed a root touch up and haircut, my usual place is closed due to covid, but they recommended this salon. I had the formula as well as directions printed out. My appointment was with an older Russian women (I can’t recall her name). She thanked me for the printout, said it would be helpful, then went to mix the product. She came back and began to apply the product sting the frame of my face. I didn’t question it, thinking this is her style. Once my face was framed in the mix she divided my head in half and applied the mixture. Again, I thing this was her way off doing it. She left the mixture on for 6 minutes! We rinsed then she did the toner mixture, telling me she “tweaked” it and that I’ll like it. I told her as long as it was the color I requested. The color was SILVER with blue undertones, and the silver was in patches, plus she didn’t even cut it the way I asked. I was angry to say the least. I refused to pay her and no one else was available since it closed. I went in the next day to see the manager Zack. He quickly brought me to the back, looked over the formula, \u0026 apologized immensely. Within a few hours he had the color perfect and the exact cut I wanted. JCPennies keep Zach, he’s an amazing stylist. Get rid of the Russian women!!!!!

My local JCP so I seem to be in here more often than the Victor location. I love checking out their Christmas attire, I can always count on JCP for a great ugly sweater. This store is always clean and staff are always ready to help. I really enjoy looking at the jewelry. For some reason the display is always eye catching and I find myself looking for a new blingy purchase. I always can rely on their purse selection too. My mother and I have walked away with some AMAZING purses from here!

This is a review of the JC Penney salon solely. I have gone for several hair and eyebrow wax appointments over the last year. The salon itself isn't all that nice looking or modern, the place could use some sprucing, but for the price you pay you can't ask for glitz and glam. I absolutely love Sarah for hair color and would recommend her 100 times over. Plus she's very kind and always a pleasure to talk to (you really get to know someone during a 3 hour cut and highlight). Can't beat the price for her skills!

I hate leaving negative reviews? My hair came out great but the experience could’ve been better. I booked a loc retwist for 12:30 and they didn’t start on my hair until 2:00 PM (at first the stylist said to come back at 1:15, so I did and she was still doing another client’s hair and didn’t start until 2:00) the manager just explained to me that “sometimes they can’t tell how long it’ll take to do someone’s hair and Saturday’s are busy”. Saturdays are busy for any business but it’s your responsibility to make sure that every client gets in on time to the best of your ability. If they were running late I wish they would have called me to push back the time or at least reschedule instead of having me drive there and wait for almost 2 hours to get my hair done. It’s inconsiderate because people have other things that they have to do, the least you could do is call to reschedule.

Stylist was nice but didnt protect my scalp during color. I developed an allergic reaction and had to go to emergency room. Also, she didn't style my hair. Salon is in disgusting state with water leakage showing on floors and overall shabby appearance. They expect the stylists to work on clients and also answer the phone at the same time. I will not be returning.

I love JCPenney! I can always find something I want or need at a reasonable price. They always have things on clearance, and their coupons are some of the best around. Most times the sales person let's me use the same coupon on separate orders to really save. For clothing, they are one of the best when it comes having a big n tall selection. Being a bigger person it's hard to find things to wear, without having to go-to a store that sells exclusively for bigger people, where everything is super expensive. Which is why JCPenney rocks in my opinion. This location has always had the best big tall selection. They also have an elevator to get to the second floor of the store. Which is nice for people who use wheelchairs, or parents with stroller's who don't feel safe using the escalator.
